Level 1 is 6 months, 30 minutes a day without missing a day. By the last month you are slapping iron beads. Your hands feel almost NO PAIN during the day. It's for reals. Level 2, breaking it _while holding it_ is much harder and can take over a year and the training is pretty weird.
what the hell are you talking about because of the floor? if he attempts it on any other surface soft enough, it'll absorb too much of the kinetic energy and will never be broken, moron. all the floor (actually the ground because its outside) does is provide a stable base so all the energy from the hit will be absorbed entirely by the coconut.
try to break it while holding it in 1 hand, cause hard object to hard object = break , and coconut against concrete is alot more ezier then in your hand
breaking it in your hand is uber hard and probably near impossible. the concrete doesnt give him any "advantage". if he puts it in his hands theres no way all the kinetic energy drive though his palm will be absorbed by the coconut because your arm cannot hold up the pressure from breaking a coconut. read what i said to another ignorant boob who questioned the cheating nature of the concrete.
Dude, your absolutely right. People who trash talk others for doing Iron Palm, never tried it or failed. Also there are others who think that its a "Trick", No just practice. And then there are idiots that go WOW!!!! because they have no life.
i think its starting to turn into a seed. u can just take a coconut and put it away in a nice warm place for a couple of months then u can start to see it sprout a stem. inside the coconut the juice turns into a a round or oval white ball, over time all the juice turns into it. if you want to to eat it you can, it's really delicious! it's kinda soft, crunchy, and sweet.
Is this the level 1 coconut break that Jim Lacey is teaching? I was doing that for a while before I injured my hand during training. It's fun showing off your buddies what you can do with a coconut. :)
I use both. QiGong and conditioning is a must in order to do it with just a slap. Notice I do not lean into or in other words I do not use my weight to add pressure its just a slap.
i dont know the guy in the video...because its not my video....but i practice Hak Dari Shon, and have learned Vibrating palm, and iron palm, and poison hands and Dim mak
if this guy was a pimp, he'd have no hos, they'd all be dead!

@bbot3k It's definitely a lot harder, but doable - its what I'm working on now. This video is an impressive break either way.

From how many time do you conditioning your hands to brake a coco? Do you use QiGong too or just exercise?
I've never try to break a coco with a hand, just roof tile, with no support. I must try. Nice job guy.
