  • once you made the intended degree turn, do you release the E-Brake or do you leave it up? Thankyou.

  • @Vdreamcloud you only pull the e-brake for like a second to lock the wheels up. Sometimes longer sometimes shorted - depending on corner radius. Just practice and you will feel it. But defo dont leave it up, you will end up stopping/stalling lol.

  • are there videos with keiichi tsuchiya, when he is using the brake drifting?

  • BADASS

  • to whome it may concern...you cannot drift a non LSD or Welded diff car. You get what is called one tire fire. The inside tire spins, and you just spin one wheel and not do a smokey drift. You have to have LSD or a welded diff so both tires spin at the same time. That way letting you control it. So yah....this isn't a japanese cartoon. It's pretty much very very hard to drift a non LSD car. Thanks for your time

  • I dont think i will try this. Tyres dont come cheap.

  • how do you do an overhaul on a lsd?

  • whats an lsd?

  • @H3artOfaBaller As far as i know LSD is a limited slip differential,

it allows a driven wheel to have a limited amount of slip before the differential attempts to correct the slippage of the wheel.

  • @darkcase123 Omg thanks bro!

  • the last thing i wanna do, is drift on lsd.

  • @TheBumnut69 you cant really drift without an lsd... drifting on an open diff is difficult you can slide the car but you cant really sustain a drift because one wheel is going to spin and that wheel it going to take 100% of the power so the only thing keeping you sideways was the momentum you had going into the drift.

  • @TheBumnut69 Sorry i missunderstood your comment, your refering to lsd the drug not a limited slip diff.

  • I like his shoes

  • Damn, I had two road cones but didnt have a drift car, If i got together with this guy we both could have been drift kings!

  • i can imagine what my parents would think if every week i was raising my car in the air to overhaul the LSD. omg what a paint that would be.

  • what u mean with "u need LSD to do this" ?

  • @reaGEEring limited slip diff

  • Will a 1.5 way work for drifting?

  • what LSD?

  • @hu3t0n an LSD is an Diff with a complete lock witch makes both wheel spin at the same time!

  • @StopLookiing LSD stands for 'Limited Slip Differential' and does not have a 'complete lock'

  • @Nazza626 yeah, iknow but im not good in english.. so its hard to explain thing.. just tried to help him ;)

  • why not clutch kick??

  • I prefer Nfs ... its more easy there :D

  • can you do this with a fwd car?

  • @3geclipse93 You can drift with eclipse if you use handbrake but its hard and its not real drifting its powersliding.

  • you need LSD to do this turn +__+

  • @88luckystrikes i hear its not a good idea...haha

  • He is so young here lol.

  • great video

  • What if I don't have an e-brake lever haha

  • @kKevGuy47k

I think EVER car has an E-brake (Hand-Brake) my friend... :)

  • @XxTheMatterOfTimexX Well yes it does have an E-Brake, but, because it is an automatic it down near where the clutch would be as a pedal. It isn't very useful for drifting haha

  • @kKevGuy47k you cant drift with an automatic.

  • And this is why his the Drift king i swear that i was looking at like 3 different videos trying to find out how to drift correctly and this is one is way better than any other

  • initial d

  • AE86 bitches.

  • wait a minute... i think he's saying he DID practice those 90 degree turns in the street!

  • the only drifting lesson i could understand. because it has english dub.such nice fellas!

  • What car is that? looks like a 200sx/old sentra but its a hatch. and its nicer lol.

  • @LadyKiller32958 its a AE86

  • @LadyKiller32958 i believe its a older toyota corolla

  • @pleirbag AE86 sprinter trueno great car!

  • @richvicious1388 sorry i am an rtard thats a corolla levin... duhh!

  • why does he drop the clutch every time he turns? i don't drive a stick haha obvious

  • When i drift Usually i would just stay at to most of the time so my car can have my gas on it /....

  • wow!

  • when i try to do the 180 turn , i always end up ALMOST facing the way i came, but i dont, i guess i dont push the gas hard enough?, im afraid i'll flip LOL, so this is basically what i do: accelerate, shift to second, then break a little bit (just a tap on the break) to transfer weight to the front ,push clutch, then apply the e-break and turn WTF i am doing wrong??

  • all of you fail. an LSD stands for limited slip differential, provides a limited amount of slip between the two axles thru a series of clutches, in a FWD car the differential carrier is located in the tranny, in a RWD car its located in the pumpkin.

  • LSD = differential lock

  • nice guiding god

  • 8:51 Fuk You :)

  • @monstersquad13 ROFL i guess u changed only your front pads. u noob. ROFL 'O' LOL its oky i dont even have a car

  • @MrPangulo007 i meant he flicked us off lol

  • thanks

  • Bunta

  • i wonder did he had the slipping tires specifically for drifting installed on his car????

  • Limited slip differential=LSD

  • does it always has to be RWD to drift? cant i drift from a FWD?

  • @dgenerationx002 It has to be an FR!!

  • @futsan no it doesnt. The MRS is mid engine rear drive car and they drift that. 911's are rear engine rear drive and they drift that as well. some guys even drift AWD but thats not the same thing. Look up ken block.

  • @richvicious1388 yeah i know...but if you really want to get into drifting, choosing a FR would be the best. Especially if you going to get into D1 GP. You don't see pro D1 using MR, RR or 4WD. Ken Block aint a drifter to me anyways!

  • @dgenerationx002 you can do ebrake "driting" in a FWD but to do this kinda of drifting you would want a RWD.

  • I need LSD? fuck.

  • What's an LSD

  • @D4nnyB0y1997 its Limited Slip Differential

  • God I love the sound of the engine !

  • That levin looks SICK! :)

  • That looks like so much fun.

  • i thought id give a little more... lets say you want to start out.. this is bare min. setup in my opion...

    240sx-1000

    motor/trans mounts-150

    solid subframe bushing-100

    exedy clutch-200

    welded diff-100

    springs lowerd-300?

    (i prefer) Coilovers- 1200

This setup is a gooooood base for the things you see here ... this is basically a setup ive done to my 4 240's dont skimp on susp if u want the car to feel awesome goingz sideways...hope it helps

  • @Syndicatet3k i agree with some of this, brakes are pretty important too, as well as your wheels, and tires, you want at least a 10j wheel in the front for the most traction. coilovers are a must, tension rods, control arms, and an alluminum radiator and some temp guages wouldn't hurt either

  • ok... sorry it took so long.. a welded diff wont make DD hard persay....just difficult when u turn at low speeds your right or left tire will "chirp" and tire wear will become a issue...now for the 40-100 bux this is a great deal becuase what you want is both wheels spinning....kaaz 2 way... or any other lsd will only lock up when "x" amount of power is applied meaning it has a bit of slip...so when your going at slow speeds the wheels will not lock and your wheels wont chirp little tirewear...

  • @Syndicatet3k but if your running independent rear i dont think that will work

  • @AuthLeakz are you stupid? the guy in this vid invinted drifting.not americans, whoever you get your info from needs to get hit..learn before saying somthing on here man..

  • @AuthLeakz They might "have" invented it but Japs are better at it! :)

  • @AuthLeakz lame /b/ quote is lame, and in wrong place.

  • @AuthLeakz Again, of course your right and you know all. Way to go champ..

  • @AuthLeakz Jiberish?

  • @AuthLeakz Then why watch the video if you are better then the drift king??? Hahaha fucking grow up kid.

  • @AuthLeakz Of course he is and you are way better then him huh? No ones better then you at drifting huh?

  • @ezbzeric1 @hutton4059 people are so helpful these days.

  • A LSD is = Limited slip differential on most cars your right wheel is the only wheel you really receive power to. hence when you are stuck in the mud one wheel spins and the other doesn't. A LSD connects both wheels to that power allowing for better distribution of power.Alternatively you can "weld" your diff which has the same effect as getting a LSD however power to both wheels will be constant making daily driving hard . a Real LSD under no load or minimal load will act as a Open diff.

  • @Syndicatet3k So with a weld will it make daily driving hard? Or does the same apply to getting a LSD and not welding? In other words will getting an LSD still make daily driving hard? What affects does a weld have to driving, what makes it difficult?

  • Red Levin FTW.

  • drifting for ricers 101

  • whats an LSD?

  • @advancedsniper Limited slip differential... google it lol

  • @advancedsniper its also known as a locker, ask your local parts dealer

  • @advancedsniper limited slip differential.

  • @advancedsniper LIMITED SLIP DIFFERENTIAL:)

  • @advancedsniper Limited Slip Differential.

  • @advancedsniper an lsd is a limited slip differensial basicly it engages both rear wheels reather than in a normal car wheronly one wheel is engaged

  • @advancedsniper limited slip differential

  • @advancedsniper limited slip differential unless i'm much mistaken.

  • @advancedsniper limited slip differential

  • @advancedsniper Limited Slip Differential, basically, it partially ''locks'' the rear differential so the back of the car can ""drift" if you have an open diff, it is way more difficult to drift because the job of those open or "stock" diff prevent the rear from going out of control... But, starting with an open diff is way better, you can feel the car and also , it is more forgivable.

Hope I answered your question , sorry for the bad english.

  • @advancedsniper LSD stands for Limited Slip Differential.

  • @advancedsniper Limited slip differential

  • @advancedsniper limited slip differantial

  • @advancedsniper LSD is short for "Limited Slip Differential", LSD is found in the transmission of a car and causes equal power to be distributed to the wheels in a car. Not all cars come with LSD tranny's.

    Lucky Shit Driver?

  • @advancedsniper limited slip differential

  • @advancedsniper Limited Slip Defential - Generally on higher powered cars. Will try to get equal power through both wheels.

  • @OmayrMcAdam it doesnt have to be a high powered car. hachi Roku's came with them and people that drift 'em throw in 2 way's and those cars are only pushing 120hp. If thats high power then idk. same with guys that drift stock 180's and silvias NA or turbo. Not really pushing that much power.

  • Limited Slip Differential.

  • @advancedsniper a limited slip differential, something i doubt you yanks ever bother putting on your cars

  • @orionparkbench nope who needs an LSD to drift? JK JK ofcourse we do rtard.

  • @advancedsniper LSD is a Limited Slip Differential

  • @advancedsniper limited slip diff.

  • @advancedsniper Limited Slip Differential

  • @advancedsniper limited slip deifferential, essentially means that at high rpms the rear tires rotate as though they are attached to eachother

  • such a nice car

  • how much PS you should have minimum?

  • @RoyWennekes doesn't matter as long as it's RWD

  • @RoyWennekes PSI for your tires?!

if thats what you're asking about, then the higher the better~

normal tires sit at 32psi, but if you put them up to about 50 or 60 you'll be able to slide a lot easier.

  • @TheRealMrBriggs PS means metric horsepower. PSI can both be boost and tyre pressure. PS depends on weight, suspension setup(i think, and personal preference. People drift cars with 100hp to 1000hp, it's just personal preferance and budget.
