  • Once we recognize our interdependence, we can recognize our solidarity.

  • cooperation rather than competition; equality for all persons: what a paradigm shift

For me, I would target college campuses and Geek bloggers, like lockernome (YouTube name, has 24hr site)

  • This is "Ode to Joy" and it is the anthem of the EU. How do you like that?

  • I still hope there'll be an "I" in this team.

  • I have no problem with interdependence, as long as it is not coerced or forced.

Voluntary cooperation is a beautiful thing, but the goal of interdependence can also be sought through government force.

This is what she is advocating.

    I'm pro-choice.

    On just about everything.

  • Lost me at 1:26

Is interdependence (or more precisely: complete, universal dependence on ungovernably large complex systems) considered by the film to be a good thing or a bad thing? It's not clear whether the content is supposed to be fascinating or horrifying. By declaring interdependence, are we declaring that it's a problem, or are we embracing it and saying that it's time to throw in the towel in the quest for independence?

  • @ funkalunatic

My version of interdependence is a win/win situation between 2 parties who cooperate. This is the relationship I have with my spouse, for example.

Ideally 2 me, a country with an abundance of a certain resource can trade it for another, more scarce one that it needs (without our declaring war on them and just 'taking it')

  • lol... this borders on pointless. she said almost nothing in this video clip: "we want to get people thinking about, um, stuff 'n' things, because, um, there's this technology and stuff." another person who's way to the left with too much money and free time, and not enough brain power. throw in a nice tangential mention of women's rights and you've got yourself a real face-palmer.

  • yawn

you sound like someone I would hate to meet

I look forward to never seeing the films described here

  • SAME OLD WINE IN NEW BAGS ? or some really new and more fair way of economics? were everyone gets better from ,,not only the bankers and wallstreetpeople ?

  • I can't wait till the conspiracy nuts see this and pathetically try to rip it apart, but I actually really enjoyed that.

  • well here I am ,right on schedule , just in time to cement the lines betwixt thou and me, your assumptions about the liberty movement could use a bit of revisement . campaign for liberty is a good place to get your feet wet. Question , Are you in agreement with the governments explanation re: 9-11? could you even tell me what bldg. 7 was ?. Just curious ,peace.

  • When a film says nothing, it's probably your tax dollars at work.
