Adobe Edge tutorial - HTML editing

When my page load..the object I want to fade in kind of blink first and then it starts the opacity transition...can you help me? @Azreal677

What do you mean by "i cannot get over how far this has come over Flash" ... It's nowhere near as capable as Flash. It's literally where Flash was in 1999. These days Flash is capable of doing advanced apps for desktop or phones, and now full 3D games with console-level graphics with Flash 11. But even for animation - The tools and capabilities of Edge are so many years behind. And the real-time preview is something thats always been in Flash for these simple timeline animations.

Excellent! It looks the deal, although I am a flash virgin so I can't really compare. One question, what happens if site is hosted in wordpress platform. Do we have to dig in to some coding?

Hey Mate - nice work - but you are using WAY too many steps. Please watch my Adobe Edge training video tutorials - I am here to help all: I have 24 years of adobe training and consulting experience - Look at how I do motion tweens - keyframes and how you do it.. we both get the same results but I use many, many, many, fewer steps (time is money- cheers, also follow me on twitter @thinkadobe

Well I have done the tutorials and everything works fine. I even tried editing a website I made a few years ago, imported it into edge, faded in some images, rotated a couple of things... freakin' easy.... I'm impressed.. Even works perfectly on my iPad/iPad2/iPod and iPhone... well done adobe

Anyway, you don't need to put all those useless keyframe at the very beginning to maintain the alphaValue to 0.. you can just begin from 1sec !

Adobe Edge is like Flash if you deleted all the cool stuff from Flash.

Adobe Edge has almost NO drawing tool, NO bone tool, NO 3D tools, No shadow filters... Flash CS5 is so much better, and hell I'd ever say Macromedia Flash 2004 is better than the Edge . This crap has a LONG way to go before it's as good as Flash ... LOL

@maw88ify You're right, flash does have a lot more features than Edge at the moment, but Edge is in preview stage, not even beta yet, they are releasing a whole host of other features in the next few months.

@maw88ify I agree, ok so you can run it on iOS devices and phones and all that, but can you take a video and position it in 3D space? can you make a 3D cube with buttons on it? can you make a cool 3D menu with sound and smooth animation?? ha! no shit you can make it in Edge... it is like a very primitive Adobe Flash with the very basic animations, like fade in/out, transform, and etc...

@aznpridfoo If you embed it as an iframe, open the page up in Edge, you can do the same as I did in the video with the iframe.
