@randywillingham And you did better against Gene than most! Fascinating that he didn't have heavy impressive muscles, but seemed to match others strength-- even when they looked bigger. You'll find some similar style and chain moves with Gene and another 118 pound "grinder" named Jeff Prescott from the late 80's early 90's. I don't know if Gene coached Jeff, but Prescott wrestled in Upstate N.Y. , and won many high school and college matches the same way. 3x H.S. state and 2x national champ.
The reason im watching this is because in practice our coach told us the Mills half and about this guy

Mills processed oxygen better than anyone on the 80 Olympic team, he told my son this at camp.
He was able to 'go' at opponents relentlessly.
