  • Dude when's part two comin can wait to see it. Been tryin Rudy's and I needed help. Thanks to your tutorial I think I can finally land the frustrating bastard. Thanx

  • @oviecaps8 I'm still working on teaching a couple people. It turns out that while the half-half = full and half-1 1/2=double method works well for fixing bad fulls/doubles/triples it, for the initial learning of a back fulltwist and front 1 1/2 twist they don't just fit together.

I'm working on it but the people I am teaching only come once a week on Thursdays and I'm not going to put it out until they can fulltwist

  • @dovicka I know your extremely busy but, could you give me a couple pointers on Rudys im having a togh time landing them correctly

  • @oviecaps8 Well I was trying to teach 2 teenagers barani--> rudi and there are 2 drills that I found felt like a ruidi's twist which they are still working on.

1: upright 1 1/2 twist on tramp with overly-long set.

Think of the delayed backtuck @ 2:20 but with a 1 1/2 twist instead of a backflip. Reach one arm out the the side then as late as possible pull your other arm towards the extended arm. Also practice doubles and 2 1/2 or more.

  • @dovicka 2: 1 1/2 twist to back on trampoline. This is much more related to a rudi cause right = back wrong = not back. There should also be somewhat of a delayed set with only the first 1/4 or so as you leave the ground (in a rudi there can be no torque at all) and just practice jump--> 1/2 twist to back then try to work it to a 1 1/2 twist. The girl found it really difficult and kept getting me to show it to them.

Cat twists (look it up) could help too I bet.

  • i honestly cant wait for part 2 of this tutorial... this tutorial makes so much sense and i cant wait to try barani's on trampoline (i can do on floor w/ a russian lift, not american set) and this tutorial makes sense and it looks really easy to do :DD

i can already back full twist, but double fulls are next on my list and im very interested to see the progression/drills for rudi's and double fulls!

thank you for the tutorial and hope to see part 2 soon!!!

  • @JrEliteAndy

I just sent the request. I was unaware that one needed to ask for clips in videos. I guess everyone is all gung-ho about it with SOPA and PIPA (the worst thing to come to the internet since pop-up ads and spam E-mails) being put through congress.

  • did you get permission to use the video in the very beginning? that is my coach i actually am in the clip. im the one in black throwing the mat.

  • nice tutorial but i dont have a trampline :'(

  • hm, is there any advice you can offer on setting? I've always had issues with it :/

  • @PERfECtlYxsCReWd

Setting is covered quite well in my "YOU CAN DO A BACKFLIP! - A comprehensive guide to learning a backflip" videos.

But I'd love to hear any additional questions you have (youtube updates me automatically when a comment is made)

  • @dovicka thanks! it's helped a bit, i'll try it on solid ground and see if i still have any questions (:

  • Very nice way of doing it :) il be giving it ago :D Thanks

  • I got access to a trampoline for the first time recently and can set very well yet, but after break I want to get some twists down, this should help a lot. :)
