a bit quicker tempo is needed for this, tone the volume way down and incorporate the crescendo where they are indicated, soprano a bit too much vibrato for this, sop II nice, alto intonation
This is nineteenth century sacred choral music, not Verdi's Aida. Aim for floating purity of tone....it should travel right up into the far reaches of the cathedral ceiling, as intended. Too "earthed" and too much vibrato. Listen to good recordings of British choirs singing this in a church.
