What I tried is playing both cds at the same time. Track 2 of cd1 starts while track 1 of cd2 is still playing. much better syncing I think. I tried this with audacity by turning tracks 1 and 2 of c1 into a single track with track 1 of cd2 as the second layer.
i wonder if the rumor meant playing both cd's starting at the same time? So even if it's not the same track number the music lines up? I know the time isn't the same on both cd's, but that might be alright, too...
try first tweaking the metronome on the songs with a current media player.
although around 1:50 there was a neat effect from the two tracks layering, i think my earlier method will produce more noticeable results.
also, you can "squish" the slower song out of the two you compare so that the songs start and end at the same time. this would tweak the beats of the slow track completely differently, so would be worth trying.
To clear some things up, this was a test, because there where some rumours that if you Play the Tracks with the same Tracknumber from the Drukqs Album simoulationusly, they fit together.
@tscherno87 You would think there could be something to that rumour... until you notice not all tracks from discs 1/2 with the same number have similar track lengths...
this probably would work if you had fixed the tempo

two completely different tempos, they really dont line up much at all. You'd need to slow down the cd2 song for this to work at all

The rumor is if you play both cd's at the same time they start to fit, not individual tracks

@tscherno87 I think the rumour is you mix ALL the tracks together.
