Tiger Band is the best college marching band in the nation. I still can't get over the fact that the University of South Carolina formed a "Marching Band Improvement Committee." I don't think they're THAT bad. lol

Good thing know one had to ply the Baritone sax! lol that would be so hard to do that while walking. My Friends a drummer and we practice some times! sounds bad cuz we play completely diffrent instruments! lol.

I don't want to mock a school for not being able to fund their band, but can't they afford a uniform for that poor kid playin the tenors wearing overalls?

Actually this was High School Band Senior Day. We let high school band seniors march with the band one day a year, as a sort of recruiting thing. Anyway, the high schoolers are advised to wear their high school uniforms but they dont have to, and I guess he wanted to wear the orange overalls so there you go. We definitely have enough money to provide for uniforms, in fact we just bought these new ones 3 years ago! :)

Actually, it was founded by Thomas Green Clemson, which is why it is called "CLEMSON University". I was hoping I'd just give you a history lesson, but I guess I have to degrade your level of intelligence now as well.

As I recall, any wealthy southerners owned slaves in 1801, making you a University founded by slaveowners. And why exactly was S.C. State founded? To keep blacks out of USC.

@anothertalkinghead Actually, this was founded because the kids at Columbia Community College would enroll, but wouldn't take classes (ok, some took general education classes)! Yup, Columbia Community College was a resort for dumb rich kids!

So the state REVOKED their charter, and then gave it to the newly founded Clemson University. Ever since then, Clemson has dominated Columbia Community College in everything from academics, to football, to job placement, and much more!
