  • Good review. I didn't understand a word but very good.

  • elch monch docnch scmid frigs nosh bosh willy wosh

  • i know hes german but he plays like a welshman

  • what kind of cabinet are u using

  • super review! Endlich mal jemand der offen und ehrlich zeigt was der Amp kann und was nicht. SO sollte ein Review sein!

  • typical marshall ;-)

  • Would this be good for thrash metal??

  • @EspLtdguitars4life Oh my yes, I just tried out one of these at samash and guitarcenter...it is amazing, it handles all the tones and tunes.

  • Fucking. Awesome

  • Which cab did you use?

  • @TheBlatantCrap M412A

  • This amp's not bad, but is pretty fizzy. Real nice clean though.

  • I think I'll get one of these to match my Les Paul. I'm running a Fender Frontman 212R at the moment and am currently paying off a thinline tele to run through that. But the Les Paul through it just doesn't sound right

  • On very volume the overdrive isnt as bad as you think

  • sounds heavy with gain only on one oclock!!!!

  • He's shredding like a German!

  • Is this guy gonna play or what? Also sorry to read here, it's assembled in Vietnam, and I was just warmimng up to the idea of Chinese manufacture.

  • It is in German ;) Tell me please - if i will use only head (without column) would it be pretty lound and good?

  • That Guy's gotta have tough ears to stand in front of that 100 watt on 9-10 volume on the clean channel!. Made in Vietnam, and really fizzy sounding when under 5-6 on the OD channel volume (least on the one I have). In other words, needs mods to get good sounds at moderate volumes, IMO.

  • is made in vietnam?

  • @chickens1990

  • HAIL HITLER!

  • @MsMarcel0 Im sorry. Hitler was an asshole. I just wish i spoke german

  • no master volume...?

  • ist eine 4x12er box lauter als ne 1x12er?????

  • @MsMarcel0 sind 4 lautsprecher lauter also einer???^^

  • @MsMarcel0 net wirklich lauter aber viel fetter

  • sounds ultra sick

  • @TheDopeOctapuss He's more than likely either miked through moniters, or it's that loud at 1.

  • MA und nicht MH xD

  • they should put in english subtitles

  • heres what i hear

gfgfhfg ggghjgy gtygg clean fgfgffgjfj marshall gfhgfgfr

  • @youknowitsBrad not every country in the world can speak your language why cant you americans understand that you guys act like he's in the wrong for speaking dutch or whatever

  • @colombobogota he's speaking german ;)

  • he gives really good reviews but it would be greater in English

    Srry for my bad english

  • @TheMrspongebob1111 it's a german shop, why should they do english reviews?

  • Comment removed

  • Got on of those and it's like a dream !!!!

  • @rhoads1726 IM AMERICAN , nobody talks German here. although that would be pretty cool learning german

  • I want to buy this amp but how does the reverb sounds. I never seen a review with the reverb.

  • @TheMrspongebob1111 it's awesome ! warm and pure at the same time !

  • @bobgold ty

  • STOP TALKING LIKE THAT I DONT UNDERSTAND YOU!!!!!

  • @MrMasterRhythm How do you expect someone in Germany to speak perfect English to you?

  • @TheZLProductions i was being sarcastic pinchi pendejo .

  • @metalmachine00

no only the tube that you wrecked but to still have the same sound in your amp make sure you replace the broken tube with the exact same tube ( same brand and size etc.) so u won't get a different sound and might be dissatisfied

  • lol does any1 feel the same thing as me ? as in, when hes speakin german i dont understand shit xD but when he plays guitar its like hes speakin a language im fluent at? music surprises me everyday :P

One Question: This guy put up the amp very loudly. That must be too loud!?! I want to buy the one with 50 watts for the practise room (our drummer plays very loud). Is it loud enough?

  • @TheCoban1234 A 50 watt can easily compete with drums and even play live.

  • I should really learn to understand Deutsch xD seems like these reviews are really good :P

  • The more of these off-shore amps Marshall puts on the market just increases demand and price for the real ones! JCM, JMP etc. I've tried them all and would much prefere a new Blackstar over any of the newer non English made circuits. My favorite amp by far is an all hand wired Phaez "Chopper". They seem to have things figured out at Phaez Amplifiers.

  • I dont know why people say not good for Metal... First off EVERY PRO GUITARIST doesnt use just an amp and Cab.. They ALL use some sort of effects or Pre-Amp with their rigs. Most are RAck Mounted with all sorts of gear in them. I own this AMp and even IF I had more money,(and I did at the time I purchased this), I would still buy this amp. I use a POD HD thru the loop and 2 Marshall cabs and it sounds GREAT. I bet If you put a JCM and your effects and done the same with this amp, U wouldnt tell

  • Soooo NOT true... I own this amp, and first off, Its built like a TANK, very heavy and well built. The clean channel is clean as any amp Ive owned in the past, and Ive owned alot. The crunch and boost channels are very good as well, giving nice clean hi's and nice warm sound. And YES your right, it is a lower priced amp, but It sounds better than amps more its price. Price isnt everything, SOUND QUALITY is.And this IS a QUALITY AMP. Just my opinion.

  • this review sound very helpfull... but i dont speek german or whatever hes speeking

  • we speak different languages...but we all know Rock N Roll baby :D

  • Sommersumarum

  • this guy knows how to do a review, he actually plays a wide range of stuff, but i dont understand a single word he said throughout the whole video, i want this amp

  • nice amp

  • @Firecross666 YES THAT IS A NICE AMP !

  • I just understand the languange of the guitar

  • the marshall M-ha N-ha....

    fuck ya-ha

  • 7:18 - 7:35

    erinnert mich an fugazi

    ..gefällt mir sehr

  • its so weird i have no idea what hes saying but now and then hes like "treble, middle, bass" and im like o yeah! i love that stuff! haha

  • @cachetband looooooooool

  • The thing I like about Marshall tube amps is that the Marshall amp is able to deliver a BIG chunky tone. People think it's all about distortion...A Marshall with the gain pulled back is far more huge sounding than one of your boutique, hi-gain stacks with the fuzz all maxed out. Grow up. Turn your fuzz down a mite, and learn how to play. The mood of the music is in your heart and your fingers. If you write music that is truly angry, nothing will amplify that emotion like a Marshall.

  • Is it just me or does German sound like English backwards?

  • I got a question ,

does it sound good on low volume ?

  • I love the sound

  • slayertauglich?

  • Der kleine Übungsamp mit MarshallSound. Welcher denn? Aus der MG Serie sicher nicht^^

  • i think hes trying to say us something about the amp

  • @eduppa69 hmmm i agree...

  • @eduppa69

hes the best erklärer in that shop

  • 6:30 auf seinen Kopf gucken :D

  • @doomerang1995

  • @Patbanger boxenwand ^^

  • AC/DC xD

  • Fraken Craken Spraken!

German for : this amp kicks-ass!

  • This thing doesnt sound like a marshall. Its basically their solid state MG line with tubes in it. I have an '83 JCM800 and it has true marshall tone. This thing is good for the money I guess If you want something that just says "Marshall" on it

  • @lespaulman1 Not everything has to sound like a "true" Marshall. Don't forget that there are people out there that can't afford such amps.

  • @lespaulman1 and honestly, I'm seeing used JCM's sell for around the same price point. It only takes a couple hundred more to get either way.

  • Can this MA 100 head handle rectifier type gain?

  • @JoshGoldie I'm no expert, but without pedals probably not.

  • Verdammt, der ist echt gut^^

  • Super Video!

    danke, weiter so

  • This amp has great clean channel. It's bright enough. Overdrive channel fits perfectly for rock/hardrock. You get really nice sound out of it, but for metal I would recommend something to boost it. But still, better try it out on Yourself ;) Im satisfied.

    Rock on!

    Musik Schmidt.....Top :D

  • i had no idea what this guy said but i enjoyed the playing

  • ich kan nicht sprechen deutsch!

  • ach du scheise wie der aufdreht!!!!!

  • @EmppuStylezZLTD

ps: der hat nichmal ohrnstöpsel drinne

  • @evildude25 Ok i stand corrected. In fact I would have bought that one if it had 2 proper channels and a footswitch. As it is, all it does is rip peoples faces off....which is good obviously.

  • this guy is terrible at playing the guitar, and he messes around with the very obvious knobs waaaay too much.

  • I hope he's wearing earplugs :)

  • wow never seen so small fret inlays xD

  • @impvr1 my acoustic has that.

    (Furch Durango)

  • @impvr1 that are edding dots XD

  • not so much gain here

  • ive played one at guitar center,it doesnt have the gain thats displayed towards the end of this video, would not recommend this for modern metal, and maybe not even old school metal. i'd save for a jvm. thats just my 2 cents.

  • @livingdeadbeat187 perhaps it would have a bit better gain if you changed out the tubes? like evh's 5150III has amazing gain, so much that is nearly plays itself. Maybe if you replaces the el34's or whatever marshall uses with 12ax7's it would sound better. I'm just guessing and hoping, because I don't have 200 for a damn evh.

  • @mitchmitchl0lersk4te The peavey s got 5 x 12ax7 pre-amp tubes, this has 3

  • Hey u metal guys; You should check out Peavey and stop freakin' spamming the Rock community damn kids xD

  • also I've been playing a year but I'm pretty good, I just want to. Get a good amp that fits me til I get enough money to buy a better amp.

  • I have a serious dilemma, I want to either get a Marshall mg100df for $399, a mg102dfx for $550 or the ma100c for $900 which one of these would be good for me and worth the money, I'm also into classic rock hair metal and van halen style

  • get a dsl 100 bad ass amp

  • IS THIS AMP GOOD FOR METAL? hahahahahahahahahaha

  • Hallo Leute.

Eure videos sind sehr sehr geil. alles super reviews. macht spaß euch zuzuhören und zuzusehen.

    Eine Bitte hätte ich aber. Könntet ihr mal das 'Hughes&Kettner Statesman Dual EL34 Topteil' testen. Würde mich riesig freuen, weil es im internet kaum Videos darüber gibt. Nur über die Combos. (;

    Danke :)

  • why do little kids always whine "can this amp do metal!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! show us!!!!!"

not every amp is designed for that shitty modern music you people call metal. especially most marshalls

  • @rockfreak611 i agree man, marshall's were manly used for rock music (THE GOOD ROCK MUSIC) they think they have balls just because they listen to heavy speed death metal, and to me it sounds all the same, the only thrash metal band that sounded good was metallica, and their newest stuff really sucks

  • @codyjt5150 amen man

  • his fingers move really fast lol

  • You know what I hate, seeing the comment question on every amplifier review on youtube that says, "Is this amp good for metal?" Why don't you just use common sense and speculate the brands you are looking at, and just go to a guitar store and try it for yourself instead of bothering the youtube population.

  • I first thought: ˜My English is terrible: I can't understand a word!"

  • Sounds thin. Or is that because of the Music Man?

  • @jb1563700 the guitar...single coils sound much "thinner" than humbuckers. humbuckers add a lot of balls and chunk to your sound

  • @aR3tardedtiger

I know, but still. The difference can't be that big

  • @guitarbitch09 No you need to shut the fuck up. How old are you? 12? Come back when you know what you're talking about. The bands you stated as being metal are metal but Ozzy, Sabbath and Metallica are metal and always will be Metal. Stop making a fool of yourself and do some research. I expect to be replyed with a "Fuck you, you piece of shit" or something along the lines of that so if you are going to do that don't bother I really don't give a shit what you think.

  • @guitarbitch09 metallica is thrash metal, and black sabbath fuckin invented metal! its different types of metal you know, not all as extreme as those bands you mentioned -.-

  • @guitarbitch09 Dude, how old are you? I could bet you 100 bucks right now that all those bands you listed as metal probably note Sabbath, Metallica, and Ozzy as metal influences, and as metal bands. Where the fuck do you think metal started? Abba?

  • @guitarbitch09 Are you fucking high you emo fuck? Listen to metallica's kill em all', and ride the lightning albums and tell me thats fucking classic rock, if you think that your a dumb fuck my friend. Those bands could only dream of accomplishing even half of what those bands have done for music. Now go cut yourself "cause nobody understands you".

  • great definition video, good quality sound, fast loading... scheissen english

  • He seems to be a good reviewer, wish someone would do something like this except in english.

  • @lesshowerrings same lmao :P

  • I don't want to be a prick but this guy's reviews annoys me because of his lips or swallowing sounds he makes. It sounds like he is about to drown in his own drool. Sorry but it really is annoying to me.

  • How is it that he's running a 100w valve amp at 7 on the volume dial whilst standing that close.. without his nose bleeding?

These things look seriously wimpy considering the power ratings.

  • @doogdoogdoog Because it's a MA, not a JCM.

  • @Gabriopunk77 True, but even the lowliest 100w solidstate combo would be making an unholy racket at those kinda settings.

  • @doogdoogdoog You made your point. I have an MG100DFX. On the volume 6, it starts to rumble on the floor. So, I don't know, maybe he is deaf or something, hahaha. This kind of videos usually have very compressed sound, so that's probably why we don't hear it having a loud tone (which is different from loudness itself). But why isn't he bleeding out, I don't know.

  • @Gabriopunk77 Maybe, but in that case, there should be a lot of ambience to the sound also!

But, at any rate, I still think these things look seriously underpowered, maybe it's a bias thing. I'll give one a try in the near future and see what happens!

  • @doogdoogdoog Ok, tell me what you thought! I've never heard one of those live either.

  • Also für 599 euro ist der voll ok!

  • with 3 preamp tubes, sounds a gainstage short of the prior dsl series

  • I bought this amp yesterday. I play metal. And I gotta say, If you play rock this is the perfect begginers tube amp, but for metalheads, your better off getting something else. The gain on this amp is rather weak (in my opinion) but overall everything else is cherry.

  • I test drove one of these a while back...it was better than a stock Peavey Valveking or the equivalents, but I don't think I'd bother unless I found one under $400 and gave it a tube change. For the same price you can get a Ceriatone kit that'll sound ten times better.

Though I'm jealous of beginning guitarists these days...they have all these affordable tube amps to choose from. We didn't really have such a thing in the mid '90s, not any that sounded decent at least.

  • if thats a 100W head i wonder how he could turn the volume so loud without tearing down his ears and the shop as well.......

  • Um... what about @ 5:50? Sounds metal to me.

  • @Lucifer9387 Even a vintage vox amp sounds metal with drop D.

  • @Gabriopunk77 Sorry you missed the point, someone had a problem that he was only play blues riffs and not enough metal, I was merely pointing out that he does play some metal style riffs. Which includes drop D tuning and higher gain. I wasn't referring to the sound of the amp.
