God, someone please tell me - is there a live performance of Michael singing Childhood??? Or, was this song too personal for him to bare to sing live, too piercing for him to share in person? I think this is such a brave song for him to share, maybe more moving and candid than any other song he ever wrote.

@RoseyDanes MJ hardly ever did the slower songs in his live shows. Certainly not after the mid-90s when huge art of his shows became lipsynced because of his physical problems. All the live and a capella-stuff is on bootleg-base or was leaked. Unfortunately, MJ himself wasn't a fan of the live-performance-material, so they never brought it out. MJ saw his music as a total product where the product was the song after all production-adjustments. Really unfortunate.

@kenjuma I kind of got that feeling too. It seems like after the Dangerous tour he just lipsynced everything. What a shame. He made some strange choices after the early nineties. I guess at the age of about 32 or so, he was just completely fried as a performer. That really bites. He would have made a bold statement to have performed this song.
