  • Middle was good, beginning and end was too rushed. The pauses are some of the funniest parts of this sketch. Good attempt though.

  • Exactly...no comedy timing. A nice ten second pause, while they sup brandy and puff on the fat cigars, before he says "cardboard box?" would have done it the world of good.

  • Actually John Cleese... who later joined Monty Python, but he wrote the original along with Graham Chapman, Tim Brooke-Taylor and Marty Feldman in the "At Last! The 1948 show". You can find it here on youtube.
