I hava a challenge if you still do them. Fight any high rank monster and use its biggest defense against it and the lowest element armor against it while keeping a high defense. Example would be use a wyvern blade flare on an agnaktor while wearing full Barioth plus armor upgraded. You can use any weapon and armor the meets the prequisites based on the monster.

Sorry to say but Krystian was wrong about the bullfango/mushroom thing in MH1. The only thing was, was that you could sneak near the bullfango to get the mushrooms without them noticing. Because if you were new to the game you pretty much would get killed in that quest because of them. And killing them was really just pointless as it took alot more time.

hey bubby here i dont know if anyone found this out but monsters do take fall damage when ui knock them out of the sky i was fighting a silver rathalos and when he fell he died so ya have a good hunt

About the lock on, its not. Its a button you can put on your touch screen and what it does is toggle the way that the L trigger works. When its off, the L button centers the camera behind you. When its on, the L button points your camera at the monster at that particular moment. Huge difference from lock on, and very, very welcome addition.

@Aradom88 In response to your issue with the japanese text, if you have the umd, there's no way to patch it to an english text. One way is to download the iso of the game and them patch it, but you run the risk of bricking your psp and its not a good way to show support to Capcom. If you played Tri before or any other MH game, then you should have a good sense of how the game works. I can recommend a good website with translations for the game with visuals.

@TheFocaBR They mention this in the video that it is pretty hard (if not impossible) to record with the DS because it has two screens and I believe a recording program only records one screen at a time.

At the moment, there's no official word from Capcom about bringing Tri G over, so not only would we have to import Tri G, we'd also have to import a Japanese 3DS because of the region locking. Additionally, there's no online play with Tri G, only local wireless, so we wouldn't be able to play with each other.

6:13 Actually Shepard, I've done this before and I'm not sure if you learned this by now, but I was able to break it without a bow. You need to attack one of his claws until he trips and falls to his side. His head will fall to one side with his mouth wide open. A blade-master can go right up to it and attack it.

In my opinion, I think Tri was the easiest they could push the difficulty limit while still being a game you could rack up hundreds of hours without getting bored.

P3rd does look interesting, but I would be bored of it when I could only (and have difficulty) play with Japanese people/complicated ADHOC party. Plus, soloing Alatreon in 7 minutes? COME ON, that's not even fun!

I wasn't thrilled about TriG, and I'm absolutely appalled at MH4's platform-playstyle. But maybe Tri will last longer now

I've seen upwards of three thousand people online in tri during peak hours, add some more who play offline and that's 5000. You guys cover three games (tri freedom 2 and portable 3rd) so if 2500 people play hose games that's 10000.

@Darklectro28 So far, no confirmation of Portable 3rd, although I think the Tokyo Game Show said they do not plan to release Tri G AT ALL to the US. Portable 3rd they are at least considering the possibility.
