I always love this song.. When this came out my Scott was 4 years old and he also

had a teddy bear named Fred (after my dad that had just passed away)..Bobby

Goldsboro and Bob Montgomery had B&M records but it was written by Mac Davis.

@HandShock Actually singer/songwriter Mac Davis wrote both "Honey" and this song.

Mac Davis's son died first and he wrote this song, sang it then gave it to Bobby to sing also. He wrote "Honey" right after his wife died, but couldn't sing it becuse it was too painful. So he gave it to Bobby. Nevertheless Bobby sings both songs great and with such feeling. Thanks again for posting.
