There are plenty of lynx in the area I live in in sweden. You rarely see the up close, and when we see footprints near the house we sometimes keep the cats in for a few days, they keep away from us and the dog though. They are wonderful beautiful animals, but we never forget that they are wild animals, and leave them alone :)

can't help but put forward some questions, how does the mother knows that her cobs are ready for meat, or rather by what mechanism did she know that, some may say that by an evolutionary mechanism or natural evolutionary process or by learning from her mother, it appears that there is some sort of teleonomy in there coded in many animal gene, that are just inherently that way. Evolution sure...but given the cambrian explosion prob, evolution crumbls

There are plenty of animals that will often choose to eat vegetables (even crocodiles/alligators) but they've all been eating meat long before we were on the scene.
