Brain "Head" Welch left the band for a few reasons, the biggest one being he was so addicted to meth that he hardly ever knew what city he was playing in, he would have died had he not left Korn, I really wish he could've stayed but I'd rather have a good musician alive than dead, not to mention his solo album wasn't half that bad. head wanted fieldy to play bass on his album, but it didnt fall through, heads always been a huge fan of fieldys style (obviousally) and they were always tight, and head inspired fieldy to go sober, hes been sober since 2005 and is a huge christian now too, fieldys book "got the life" is excelllent everyone really needs to read it, fieldys new personality and lifestyle really shines through throughout the whole book, check it out!
