  • This guy wrote beautiful music

  • There are no words to describe the magnitude of the musical loss suffered when this guy died.

You get a handful of guys like this every generation. Such a shame that so few have ever heard of him (including guitarists- including SERIOUS guitarists- including SERIOUS FINGERSTYLE GUITARISTS), however, thank god he was around just long enough to catch the full force of the internet age, so we all can enjoy him forever.

  • Another great picker lost to the bottle. Thanks, Buster. We'll miss you brother.

  • Buster B. Jones passed away on Feb. 2, 2009 in Eugene, Oregon. He was 49 years old. He's gone, but we'll always have his music. He's at peace.

  • great buster, but a lot of it sounds more influenced by earl klugh rather than jerry

  • My dear god!!! I love your style!!! Keep up the good work.

  • Six months is a long tme without B B Jones.

  • is going to be a longer time without him now

  • It's FAKE...It's Nokie Edwards in a Chet Moment

  • Whats with the thumbpick? At first he doesnt have one then he does then he doesnt.

  • Heh! Well spotted!

  • He does the lead with no pick. There is an overdub part for harmony and fill that he uses the thumb pick.

  • Nope, Buster shows material from the recording of two tunes for his CD "Just us". He plays each on a different guitar and uses different styles. Some Marcel Dadi on "Just us" and his unique blend of styles on "Brew Grass".

  • thanx for this video :)

  • Simply Beautiful, Thanks for sharing this
