Thanks a lot California! No gen 4 for me. No magazine disconnect?!?! So according to Cali if god forbid the mag falls out.. I can't shoot the chamber round because that would be illegal! Well OBVIOUSLY!!! LOL

@espdemon In that case a Ruger SR9c is a high quality, low cost option. My Gen4 Glock 27 is a .40 that feels like a 9mm, but I wear my SR9 whenever clothing permits.

@espdemon LOL, would you be allowed to weld the 200Rd double drum magazine to the grip so its not removable?

or you could go noob airsoft spring gun style by shooting upside down with loose cartridges in the mag well.

It's sad... with all these new bullets that - once in the barrel - turn into illeagal heat seaking missiles when there's no mag inserted, they of course had to make that law. I mean come on, a gun with one round in the chamber is much more dangerous than a gun with a 17rd mag in it. ;-)

It's probably some communist logic, I'm glad I don't get it....

I have not shot any of the new Gen 4 Glocks. I want to buy one or two this year.
