That He'd be born in Bethlehem (Micah 5 - 700 years prior to Jesus birth). He is mentioned there as the one foretold to become RULER in Israel & that there will be a GAP in time from His death 5:3,4 until He reigns as RULER 5:2. This links to Isaiah in many ways. The "ARM" in Isaiah 53 is the ARM that will RULE Israel Is. 40:10 & bring salvation Is. 52:10, etc.!

@Misstorys Hypnosis is certainly not a "Natural" state! We & many others call it an "altered state of consciousness". The most authoritative person ever - Jesus - whose proven to be a supernatural being (see prophesies I just mentioned here moments ago), forced "demons" (spirit beings) out of people. Those people were also in a form of "altered consciousness" when the demons (spirit beings - fallen angels under Satan's command) were controlling them. Hypnosis opens doors to these demons.

Not difficult to distinguish a true TV preacher from a false TV preacher, just FOLLOW THE MONEY TRAIL. Since words are cheap, what you need to look for is the preacher's deeds, his/her lifestyle, the amount of money he/she pays himself from donations, whether he/she lives a decadent or a simple and austere life. It will then be crystal clear to you.
Just a side issue. It is not altered states of conciousness themselves that are the problem. We all have altered states of conciousness, (ASC) eg we all need REM sleep (an ASC) and deprived of it we get ill. It is the type of ASC that is significant. When the Bible author says 'God has put eternity into the hears of men' he knew about this because of an ASC. I agree however that hypnosis, Drug induced ASC are not healthy.

I do know Natural Healing comes thru Jesus Christ. It's by our faith and without faith and works fatih is dead and We who are christians we must be able to discern Spririts. All Spirits. If someone thinks there healed by a healing prophet, they must go to a dr to be tested. Let us not look to men for Miracles but only Jesus Christ. I have been healed super naturally by God and I Didn't go to anyone but the Lord. If I was not sure where my faith stood then I would go take medical treatment.

There is a big difference in judging and discerning. If we discern with a judging spirit we are aligned with the enemy. We are tearing down the Kingdom of God. We don't have to agree with everything about a minister. But the way we handle our differences can open doors to demonic spirits in our life. Jesus prayed that we may be one. If we don't agree with something about someone, we should pray and not publicly attack them.

This verse is about WORKS not about a relationship with Christ

As an x pentecostal( I was caught up in this mess for 17 years) they teach that if you don't expect healing...your not going to get healed. And also if you don't confess with your mouth that your healed, you won't be healed as well. As a person confesses out of thier mouth their healed.. Jesus didn't need a doctor's corroboration to verify His healings. Everyone in town knew these people who were blind or deaf or dead! Jesus did miracles to verify Isaiah 35 prophesies that he would heal, to prove He was the messiah. When John Baptist doubted, Jesus appealed to his miracles as a fulfillment of prophesy to the Messiah. Jesus disapprove of casting out demon or performing miracles. Read above verse.
The point Jesus was making is that He "never" knew them. They were never born again. Jesus still does miracles. In fact, His holding all the atoms of the universe and in our bodies, keeps us from instantly dissolving!
To bring all humans to saving faith so that they may not go to hell and also have his joy in this life. Jesus said "I am come that they might have life , and that they might have it more abundantly" (Jn. 10:10) And, "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him" (Jn 3:36). And "...fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell" Mt. 10:28).

The Kingdom of God preached by Jesus is within us. Jesus ask his disciple to seek first ye KOG in Matt 6:33.

By being born again as discussed above (near the beginning of this discourse) while answering your question about Jesus ' purpose on earth. You seem to be heading towards the New Age misunderstanding of "christ consciousness" being available to all. Do you believe in reincarnation (I don't)? Do you believe all that the Old Testament teaches came from the only God in existence? Do you believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins and only by His blood and thru His name can you be saved?

In Gospel of Thomas, Jesus said, "If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you."
As you quote the gnostic gospel of Thomas as credible, I now understand that you are a gnostic or New Age disciple (they are about the same, as they both incorporate as essential the original Lie in the Garden of Eden - Thou shalt be as God. You are totally deceived "netelsg". As it says in Daniel 7: 13,14 about Jesus, He alone shall receive dominion. There is only one God and he is composed of a trinity - Father _Son and Holy Spirit. Use search engine "debunking gnosticism or false gnostic."
The verses I quoted above, taken together, make those statements. Jesus didn't use the word "cross" but that was the method the Romans used for execution and Israel could not execute anyone while under Roman control as part of the roman Empire. Almost anything the Gospel of Thomas says is false. It was written at least 100 years after the gospels of Mathew; Mark, Luke and John. They all knew Jesus while He walked the earth as a man. Whoever wrote "Thomas" was not a true disciple & lived later .
The four gospel writers all knew Jesus and each other. Anything we know about Jesus comes from their words. Mathew was a tax collector for Rome. He had to use shorthand in his job. Therefore he was educated and undoubtedly took notes in shorthand while with Jesus for 3 years. Jesus words all come from those 4 gospels. Additionally, Peter called Apostle Paul's writing scripture, in 2 Peter 3:15,16. The false so called gospel of Thomas was written way after the fact, by an imposter. Check internet
Said Jesus (Luke 24:25-27, 45-47) "O fools and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: Ought not Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory? ...Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures. And said...Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day: and that repentence and remission of sins should be preached in His name among all nations,,,"
John 14:6 - "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way , the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the father but by me". And in Acts 10:7,8 "...I am the door of the sheep, All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers ..." And about His return Mt. 24:23 " Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there, believe it not." (don't believe any to come or any in the past, meaning He is the only "Christ". Acts 4:12 ".. none other name under heaven ..whereby we must be saved."
Mt. 26:28 "...For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many, for the remission of sins". Jesus also said: Jn. 10:15-18 "I lay down my life for the sheep...No man taketh it from me..I have power to lay it down, and i have power to take it again". Jesus said He could kill those arresting Him easily: Mt. 26:53,54 "Thinkest not that I cannot now pray to my Father, and He shall.. give me twelve legions of angels..But how.. shall the scriptures be fulfilled? ..thus it must be."
Mt. 26:28 "...For this is my blood of the new testament, ...for the remission of sins".
His Blood is for remission of sins, not to save others into the Kingdom of God.
If so, Jesus would not have say " Seek first ye Kingdom of God..." in Matt 6:33.
If his blood can save you, then in Gospel of Thomas, why did Jesus says ""If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you...will destroy you."
Sometime you will hear people say " I have earned my money and living thru' my own hard work; this money is my blood and sweat. Does that really mean that money is his blood ???????
What I'm trying to say is the word " blood" of new testament has deeper mean.
Certainly the Kingdom of God is spiritual and certainly the "Real" identity of us all is spiritual. But because Luke and the false "Thomas" agree on certain points doesn't mean they teach the same gospel. They don't. Also, all of God's creation is not "the Kingdom of God that is within us. God created Satan, who exists and Satan is not part of God's. Kingdom. Satan will be in Hell, not Heaven. Search engine the "gospel of Thomas false" and you will find it contradicts the true Gospels.
Born Again means "discovering your True Self or the REAL YOU lying spiritually unknown within your physical body ". The day you discover the REAL YOU, you are born again but this time is spiritually, not physically.
Regarding the Gospel of Thomas, I say it is real and true. I'll explain to you.
1stly, Luke 17:21-22, Jesus say ... For, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
Whilst in Gospel of Thomas, Jesus say "... the Kingdom of God is within you and outside of you"
Therefore, till now you still have now prduce verse spoken by Jesus Himself that "I will die on the cross for your sins and only thru' My Blood and My Name you will be saved. "
Jesus say in John 14:6 "I am the Truth, the Way and the Life..." this "I' and "Me" is referring to the Spiritual True Self within Jesus. Every human has their own Spiritual True Self; the physical body is NOT the REAL YOU.
If anyone can find his/her True Self within, he/she is BORN AGAIN. When you're BORN AGAIN, you can enter the KOG.
John 3:7 Jesus answered, "...Truly, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God...' You must be born again.'

As I wrote below, In Acts 18 Luke says that Paulin Corinth, "reasoned" with them out of the scriptures. Paul could have done miracle after miracle, but God has elevated His Word above His own name. Read again 1 Corinth. chapters one thru 4. Ask God.
I am glad that you are studying your Bible and everything lad...but what I'm tryna get to you all is that what you're saying about Benny Hinn is exactly what happened when Jesus did out of the ordinary things and as far as the healings go...YeS!!! @moabedom Many other fulfilled prophesies about Jesus, besides the ones I just mentioned. They cannot have referred to anyone else. That He'd be born in Bethlehem (Micah 5 - 700 years prior to Jesus birth). He is mentioned there as the one foretold to become RULER in Israel & that there will be a GAP in time from His death 5:3,4 until He reigns as RULER 5:2. This links to Isaiah in many ways. The "ARM" in Isaiah 53 is the ARM that will RULE Israel Is. 40:10 & bring salvation Is. 52:10, etc.!

The most authoritative person ever - Jesus - whose proven to be a supernatural being (see prophesies I just mentioned here moments ago), forced "demons" (spirit beings) out of people. Those people were also in a form of "altered consciousness" when the demons (spirit beings - fallen angels under Satan's command) were controlling them. Hypnosis opens doors to these demons.

We have all those states in our selves anyway, natural it comes with the package so to speak and where that package comes from is another story. Not difficult to distinguish a true TV preacher from a false TV preacher, just FOLLOW THE MONEY TRAIL. Since words are cheap, what you need to look for is the preacher's deeds, his/her lifestyle, the amount of money he/she pays himself from donations, whether he/she lives a decadent or a simple and austere life. It will then be crystal clear to you.

Just a side issue. It is not altered states of conciousness themselves that are the problem. We all have altered states of conciousness, (ASC) eg we all need REM sleep (an ASC) and deprived of it we get ill. It is the type of ASC that is significant. When the Bible author says 'God has put eternity into the hears of men' he knew about this because of an ASC. I agree however that hypnosis, Drug induced ASC are not healthy.

I do know Natural Healing comes thru Jesus Christ. It's by our faith and without faith and works fatih is dead and We who are christians we must be able to discern Spririts. All Spirits. If someone thinks there healed by a healing prophet, they must go to a dr to be tested. Let us not look to men for Miracles but only Jesus Christ. I have been healed super naturally by God and I Didn't go to anyone but the Lord. If I was not sure where my faith stood then I would go take medical treatment.

There is a big difference in judging and discerning. If we discern with a judging spirit we are aligned with the enemy. We are tearing down the Kingdom of God. We don't have to agree with everything about a minister. But the way we handle our differences can open doors to demonic spirits in our life. Jesus prayed that we may be one. If we don't agree with something about someone, we should pray and not publicly attack them.

Mr Hinn will have 2 answer 4 his own life. We don't have 2 patrol him. God will do that, as He does with each of us. I feel it's best 2 focus on having order in our own lives. In prayer, we can ask God 2 send conviction where it is due, but not sending wrong prayers. We should ask with the right heart.

I haven't listened to this video but am posting based on the tithe. it is a very dangerous thing to ever judge a servant of God. Very dangerous! It can bring a curse of death. God forbid that people should take the things of God so lightly. Do you not realize that everyone who is called to ministry will be persecuted? Whoa to the one that persecutes. God forbids judging. It is disobedience. Pray instead. B Hinn has won thousands upon thousands to Christ. How many have you won?

As an x pentecostal( I was caught up in this mess for 17 years) they teach that if you don't expect healing...your not going to get healed. And also if you don't confess with your mouth that your healed, you won't be healed as well. As a person confesses out of thier mouth their healed.. This shows God you have great faith and he will reward your faith by healing you. Everything is on your shoulders, and if your not healed..its your fault.. no theirs. Its sooo crazy. I'm thankful I'm out of it.

"inner" is KOG within you.
"outer" is KOG outside you.

He only becomes your Lord when you recognize the meaning of the scriptures I quoted a few hours ago. They are plain to understand for anyone who seeks Truth with all their heart. Jesus died for our sins because God is not only "Love" but he is also "Just". Justice requires negative consequences ("punishment") for those who sin. That's why Jesus died for our sins as the scriptures I quoted clearly state. When you recognize jesus died for your sins and accept Him as Lord, you are saved.

Being born again can only occur when you successfully find your Kingdom of God within and outside of you.
Jesus is sent to Earth for the purpose of preaching the Kingdom of God; see verse Luke 4:43 But He said to them, "I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also, for I was sent for this purpose."
One can only consist be saved when he/she enter the KOG, and that's why Jesus ask you "Seek first ye KOG..." as in Matt 6:33.

God does miracles occasionally thru all Christians who have the faith to ask. Yes, God has used me and others I know in deliverances and healings. On occasion. Benny Hinn hasn't even been able to document healings. Watch Canada's award winning program with the help of a Christian seminary student with multiple sclerosis exposing Hinn on television: "the fifth estate - Benny Hinn [1/2]" Additionally, false "prophet" Hinn has given many false prophesies.

Jesus didn't need a doctor's corroboration to verify His healings. Everyone in town knew these people who were blind or deaf or dead! Jesus did miracles to verify Isaiah 35 prophesies that he would heal, to prove He was the messiah. When John Baptist doubted, Jesus appealed to his miracles as a fulfillment of prophesy to the Messiah. You seem to be heading towards the New Age misunderstanding of "christ consciousness" being available to all. Do you believe in reincarnation (I don't)? As you quote the gnostic gospel of Thomas as credible, I now understand that you are a gnostic or New Age disciple (they are about the same, as they both incorporate as essential the original Lie in the Garden of Eden - Thou shalt be as God. The verses I quoted above, taken together, make those statements. Jesus didn't use the word "cross" but that was the method the Romans used for execution and Israel could not execute anyone while under Roman control as part of the roman Empire. Almost anything the Gospel of Thomas says is false. It was written at least 100 years after the gospels of Mathew; Mark, Luke and John. They all knew Jesus while He walked the earth as a man. Whoever wrote "Thomas" was not a true disciple & lived later .

The four gospel writers all knew Jesus and each other. Anything we know about Jesus comes from their words. Mathew was a tax collector for Rome. He had to use shorthand in his job. Therefore he was educated and undoubtedly took notes in shorthand while with Jesus for 3 years. Jesus words all come from those 4 gospels. Additionally, Peter called Apostle Paul's writing scripture, in 2 Peter 3:15,16. The false so called gospel of Thomas was written way after the fact, by an imposter. Check internet

And in Acts 10:7,8 "...I am the door of the sheep, All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers ..." Both Luke and Thomas mentioned that the KOG is within you. Thus, Thomas Gospel is true. If Thomas Gospel is NOT true, so is Luke Gospel.
2nd point, I will explain why ye KOG should also be "outside of you". As all christians know, God "create" the world and Universe, right or wrong?
If wrong, then this universe and the world "outside of you" is NOT God's creation.
If correct, then KOG must also be "outside of you" because the world and Universe are "outside of you" - created by KOG.

Certainly the Kingdom of God is spiritual and certainly the "Real" identity of us all is spiritual. But because Luke and the false "Thomas" agree on certain points doesn't mean they teach the same gospel. They don't. Also, all of God's creation is not "the Kingdom of God that is within us. God created Satan, who exists and Satan is not part of God's. Kingdom. Satan will be in Hell, not Heaven. Search engine the "gospel of Thomas false" and you will find it contradicts the true Gospels.

Jesus say in John 14:6 "I am the Truth, the Way and the Life..." this "I' and "Me" is referring to the Spiritual True Self within Jesus. Every human has their own Spiritual True Self; the physical body is NOT the REAL YOU.
If anyone can find his/her True Self within, he/she is BORN AGAIN. When you're BORN AGAIN, you can enter the KOG.

As I wrote below, In Acts 18 Luke says that Paulin Corinth, "reasoned" with them out of the scriptures. Paul could have done miracle after miracle, but God has elevated His Word above His own name. I am glad that you are studying your Bible and everything lad...but what I'm tryna get to you all is that what you're saying about Benny Hinn is exactly what happened when Jesus did out of the ordinary things and as far as the healings go...YeS!!! Not everyone in some meetings will be healed WHY!?! Remember Jesus would say "Go, your faith has healed you."
Well if you need a healing and are doubtful there is no "substance of things hoped for, evidence of things not seen."

Acts 17:2 -4 "And Paul as his manner was...reasoned with them out of the scriptures...and some of them believed". This was in Thessalonica. He could have done miracles and raised from the dead lots of people, but he "reasoned" with them out of the scriptures. Acts 18:1-4 "...Corinth...he reasoned...and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks." The Apostle Paul in 1 Cor 1:18-24 "For the preaching...is the power of God...verses 23, 24...the power of God. Paul is contrasting Man's words and God's Word.

All of you who believe Benny Hinn or any of the others who claim to be a true prophet of GOD, just simply measure them by Deut 18:22. Remember what is written in 1st Corithians 14:33....Benny Hinn has claimed and spoken things in GOD's name that have not come to pass, so what does that tell you? Some of you want him to be the real thing so badly, that you refuse to see him for what he really is. Benny Hinn also led these people to deny medical help for their son and the kid died.

For amhe2: One is not a "worker of God" if one is a false prophet. Benny Hinn among many false prophesies, prophesied that all homosexuals in America would be dead before 1996. That is a "lie". A false prophesy. You are not a "worker of God" if you "lie" in God's name. Also, Benny Hinn has not been able to document one single true healing, among his supposed hundreds or thousands. Again, watch "The Fifth Estate" expose. They are the award winning "20-20" or "Sixty Minutes" of Canada.

Those affiliated with Truth Seekers believe in prophesy. However in deuteronomy 18:20-22 God says that if you claim to be a prophet and are wrong just once, you are a false prophet. Benny Hinn and his friends along with many in the Apostolic Reformation of C.Peter wagner's group, are in our opinion false prophets. Some of the things they have said also contradict what the Bible states

thanks for sharing this video and show the truth about this false prophet of God. There is even video of benny saying he would like to kill all those who speak not well about him. He takes so much money from their followers and lives like a king. This man has nothing to do with God.
