  • First of all, u need to jump higher (axel) And secondly, you have to keep your arms and legs close, tight to ur body. And straighten your body, ur leaning forward too much.

    And be confident ! :)

  • can u make more vids for beginners and ive only been skating 2 months and i really need to improve so plz help me!

  • this is amazing!! : )

could you give me tips for off ice training for jumps? I just started skating a year and a half ago and only skate about twice a week so I would love to know how to improve at home! And your off ice (and on ice) jumps look awesome!!

  • thank you so much. I would recommend doing regular conditioning exercises and getting used to rotation exercises little by little like : first try to rotate 1/2 revolution and increasethe rotation 1/4 by 1/4 till you lose the control. The key point is not rotating no matter what by rotating as much as you can without losing the balance and control. It can improve in time. I hope this helps... :)

  • More speed would help your axels. For the layback, practice backbends. Us a wall to climb your hands down into a bridge, it takes practice but it really helps. Hence, why my laybacks are my signature move. Keep up the great work! You inspire me to work harder. :]

  • omfg your rotation speed is super fast

on your axel you jumping into the circle of travel,so you rotation position is underslung and you land on the back of the blade or landing opposing the initial motion

  • You are leaning backwards nothing should move your dropping your right shoulder you need to be a pin NOTHING MOVES! but good job keep going for it!

  • thank you, i'll keep that in mind. it's hard to achieve the perfect pin position but it comes only with practice, doesn't it? :)

  • yeppp l0l g00d lucK

  • Nice laybacks! If you would hold your arms up so that the form and arch over your body they would look even prettier;-)

I wish I had your problems;-) If I really concentrate I can usually save my landings, but as I do at most 1 revolution on the axel, I don't even get to the point where I could pull out...

  • Thanks, I want to lean back more and bring my arms & free leg even upper, I hope to do it in time.

Axel progress needs so much determination and patience.I am frustrated sometimes.I still need to do hundreds of times of valtz jump+backspin exercises:( so, dont be disappointed with anything. Also, we dont "have to" do double jumps or axel, if I feel I come to a point where I cant go any further, I may just quit, but I hope I wont.

  • Great!!!

  • :);)
