Really? What do you think would happen? the Triforce of Courage mysteriously appears on dark Prime link? Not a chance. You cannot loose what you were born with. Link is chosen by the Gods and only the Gods will take it away. Samus on the other hand had already been altered on the genetic level. Her DNA re-sequenced to make her a more affective weapon. The hatching.

Dark link was never more than evil shadows and dark spirits taken the form of Link. But Dark Samus or even X-Samus, were both very real and very powerful. Certainly nothing that a shadow could defeat. Dark Link, never stood a chance.

For those who say this is more "Dark Samus v. OOT Mini-bosses" than "DS v. DL," keep in mind that many of us (myself included) who played OOT remember the mini-boss theme from the Dark Link battle. (And why wouldn't we? It was one of the most epic mini-bosses ever, getting to fight DL after all those years since Zelda 2. If they put him in Skyward Sword, they'd better remix the OOT mini-boss theme to go with him!)

If we're talking about the music, gotta say I love Darkness more but if we're talking about characters...come on, some people are actually seriously arguing that Dark Link could beat phazon Samus? Did you even play any metroid? A sword woudnt even freaking scratch Samus, she can freaking walk in lava without getting hurt! Samus is like the Superman of video games, pretty much no one else in any video games would stand a real chance against her.

@giantWario Since this is also Zelda related, I'd like to point out that there is indeed a character who can beat Samus. And that's Link's enemy, Ganondorf. Ol' Ganny would downright murder Samus. Ganondorf is, for the most part, immortal. And he can only be hurt by weapons that can repel evil, which Samus unfortunately doesn't have.

@NintendoKnight1 You can beat ganon in many games with the boomerang, the bow and arrows or the grappling hook! None of those are «weapons that can repel evil». You can even hurt him with his own magic when you can reflect it despite the fact that, logically, his magic his evil! Samus can litteraly disintegrate people and she woudnt even get scratched from a fireball or a sword to the face. GET REAL! Do you also think Ganon could defeat Superman or Goku? Cause thats pretty much just as likely.

@giantWario What Zelda games have you played? No, boomerangs and grappling hooks can't possibly hurt Ganon. And the only arrows that hurt him are light arrows, which are magical arrows that repel evil. And yes, he can be *stunned* by his own magic. But he can't possibly be beaten that way. Samus is not nearly as strong as you believe she is. Just because her *suit* gives her the ability to disintegrate enemies, it doesn't mean it would work on Ganon.

@NintendoKnight1 I played the LoZ on the gameboy, super Nintendo, Ocarina of times and Twilight princess. If he suddenly became a thousand time stronger in Wind waker then let me and then maybe he'll be able to actually hurt Samus. Link, Zelda and Ganon would not even beat a regular space pirate. When you try to compare Science-fiction to fantasy, science-fiction always win cause Samus can just bomb the hell out of the entire planet they live on with her ship if she wants to.

@giantWario You played those games? Then you should know that Ganon was only beaten due to the mystical evil-repelling items Link had. Otherwise, Ganon is unstoppable and godlike. No amount of science fiction could come even close to bombing him into a oblivion. Let's use lava for example. Stick Samus in lava, she'll eventually die. Stick Ganon in lava, he won't feel a thing.

I use the facts for this, not my like of the character. My favorite character is Link, and I *know* he'd lose to Samus.

You should know that Samus would understand when something is out of her league. She *can* beat Ganondorf, but not by a direct fight, but by allowing Link to defeat him.

@ndh564 Dark Link is PURE DARKNESS. Missiles would pass THROUGH him. Light based weapons can damage him, but explosives cannot. And Dark Link isn't a robot, so it doesn't matter if the mind-control whatever works on AI.

Honestly when I saw the title "Dark link vs. Dark Samus," I was thinking the zelda half of the music would be from Zelda II when you fight Dark link. I became interested in seeing how it would be put together, but it turned out to be the mid-boss part in OoT... I still like this tho. Once again, nicely done
