Don't be a blockhead. What I mean is that MM is one one of the best bassists. Everybody knows that. But he is also a great clarinet player, wich isn't common, even with the greatest names, and most people don't even know that MM is not solely a bass player, and don't even care if the musician they are a fan of, can do anything besides what they became famous with. That's sad. That's all I'm saying.

why is it sad? if for example someone is famed for driving car rallies really well, why is it sad if most people don't know he is an averagely good aviary maker, too?

You know, manufunkture - Marcus wouldn't even like to call himself a bass player nor a clarinet player. He likes to consider himself as a musician who isn't bound to any instruments. The music comes from Marcus and not from his instruments - they are just tools. And are you really blaming Marcus fans for not caring about his clarinet or keyboard skills? Are you really stepping above them with your "persons like me" comment? Now that's sad...
