@BeInTheVortex I was some years ago at Monument Valley. I never forget when a native was playing on the flute..so gentle and smooth..at that moment the sun went down...I still remember this simple moment but wih a lot of emotional feelings.

Indeed, I wanted to reflect this contrast. Living in harmony with nature or living in a city where there is no time to stop and think anymore about what human kind is actually doing; abusing nature.

Almost all natives have been murdered and there knowledge about living in harmony with nature.

People came to America 'in the name of God' and killed the natives as being 'savages'.

Who are actually the savages now?

Great video sad what happened to our Native Americans. At least we are taught the error and atrocitys we committed against them. More can always be done though to help all the recognized and especially the unrecognized tribes of North America.

Monument Valley is in Utah isn't it? I never met any real native americans when I lived in Colorado, but the scernery is really similar. The red rocks seem so unreal to europeans...

I bet the atmosphere was overwhelming when you listened to the flute. As down to earth as it gets I suppose. Simply a priceless experience! :)

Can remember it was hard to get some beers in this state. You lived in the States?

Roughly I went from San Fran, Yosemite park, Lake Tahoe, Bryce Canyon, Monument Valley, Grand Canyon, Death Valley, Las Vegas, San Diego, LA, San Fran. During the trip I always did sleep within the national parks.

In 2007 I went to Mexico, Guatamala, Honduras and Belize, to see Maya culture.

I went to school in Colorado Springs for a year. Didn't get much around though. Only went to some ski resorts like Vail and Breckenridge... Pikes Peak was one of the cultural highs :P

South America sounds really interesting, too! I went to Venezuela once, but didn't see anything related to culture there. Only lots and lots of poverty...
