Not necessarily saying there *wasn't* a conspiracy, but if there was, Zeitgeist is the last piece of "supporting evidence" you'd ever want to cite.

I've got to be honest, I think this video is poor.

There's no need to ram the message of the song down our throats.

Nor is there any need to flip from a mountain to a church - the lyrics say that 'mountains are holy places', not churches.

Having said that, I appreciate the effort you've gone to, and it's always good to hear my favourite Runrig tune!

I think Bruce is just as good as Donnie. They do, however, have DIFFERENT styles. Donnie was more sing-songy whereas Bruce sounds more American-rockish.

'THE CUTTER AND THE CLAN' is one of Runrig's best albums. I know they are still a good band since Bruce Guthro joined them, and have seen them live since then. But I sincerely believe that the heart and soul was ripped from the band when Donnie left. Just my opinion, of course, so please no rude comments, anyone. But RatLady, you've done an excellent job with this video, it helps to promote the song and the message it carries. But what a grim future we have.

I assume by fake you mean inauthentic and manufactured. That would probably be on the money. However, I believe the same criticism can be levelled at Runrig. Arguably they are not as vacuous as most contemporary pop groups but I think jumping on the bandwagon of 'environmentalism' is a cynical ploy to attract fans. They are the the environmental equivalent of all those terrible 'christian rock' bands.
