If you understand Korean, you'll realise KH is saying, "I don't know Korean" But due to his mispronunciation, "韓語" became "漢語".

ET & EH were asking him to do his intro in Korean but trying to be funny, KH claims he don't know Korean (in Mandarin) and HK was jokingly telling him to "stop it/cut it out" and everyone was laughing. In the end KH did his intro in Korean.

Please remember this was way back before they went to china.. KH's Mandarin pronunciation is not exactly great then.

'韓語' & '漢語' have almost similar pronouncation in chinese. And when foreigner like KH starts speaking in mandarin... it is even more difficult to understand what he is trying to say. Chinese words can be a real pain to pronounce for foreigner. =)

well as a native mandarin speaker, 普通話, 中文, 漢語(han yu) all mean mandarin, they are interchangeable. But for those who speaks cantonese, the word for mandarin is 普通話.. 國語(guo yu) is also another common word for mandarin. it all depends on who's speaking and who's the listener. you can use any of those words in any countries and people will understand what you mean despite their nationalities.
