Great game Paul. this is one of those games Iv finished a 100+ times back in the 90's but can still play it regular now, never gets old. I loves Mario land 2 even more though which I also own!

@mrbomblego haha yeah I know dude, I'm not sure how possible it is without saving. I beat it today during class. I have it on Visual Boy Advance emulator, so I used save states. I feel like I cheated a bit. But it was a hell of an experience anyways, and it burned class time... =p

When you look at it in a way it does have 8Worlds. After beating World 4 you play more difficult versions of the Worlds. Beat those and you truely beat the game and unlock the stage select feature.

For some strange reason I kept feeling uneasy when playing this as a child. I remember going back to the store with my mom and trading it for Super Mario Land 2 which was slightly more expensive. I felt bad about it, but it was my decision.

I was six back then, but I still get that eerie feeling watching this now at twenty. Curious...

Good game but it seems that with only 4 worlds with 3 stages that the game was released when it was halfway finished. Not that it was it just seems that way. I guess in a way it has eight worlds with the expert mode after beating the game which has you playing harder versions of the levels. But I would still prefer entirely new levels like the letter worlds after beating world 4.
