for the record JaS does not work in VMware you need a SPECIFIC boot loader or iso designed for a virtual machine. it also depends on the version of vmware ur using

either or. I use the JaS disk, but PearPC is shitty, wouldn't boot the ISO, and VMWare is awesome for the Mac OS X installation. VMWare = Mac OS X, Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems supported for installation.:)

not true. you have probably download a faulty image. try downloading it again, or use these settings in vmware when setting it up:

It says to mount the iso image, however that did not work for me. I just told vmware to go to the iso and it worked

I downloaded OsX86 10.5.2 and I am running VMWare 6.0.4 build 93057.

I followed your steps and as I use that -v command, it runs some lines and stops at one that says "ATA Disk: Checksum cookie not valid", tries again and then just shows some error messages...

If I go through the direct boot, it loads until it asks to restart the machine and everything is at the zero-point.

Any idea what's going on?

I've never personally used the Kalyway Leopard version.

I'm not even sure if it is compatible with VMWare Workstation. This is a video tutorial for use of the JaS Mac OS X 10.4.8 image (with PPF1.etc). Please see another video for use of Kalyway and VMWare.
