The transition was really tricky and the only way I could've made it better would be to remove the Philip Glass music altogether.
As for the song choice, personally I think it fits like a glove. It's more closely related to Watchmen and it's themes than any other song made after the book was published. And for me it works well as trailer music too. I guess the latter depends on whether you hate MCR or not.
