New Emerging Tourist Attractions in Bohol Continue to Develop (As of 2011)

I had no problem booking a flight into Tagbilaran from MNL without any layover. I was able to book my return flight out of TAG the day before I wanted to leave just a week ago (Jan. '12). Sorry, not convinced an airport will enhance anything. You really want jet traffic coming in overhead while you get a massage on the beach? Not me.

Bohol is an awesome place! But they don't need to make an International Airport on Panglao island (and a mall). Part of what makes Panglao nice is it's slight seclusion from the "big" city, Tagbilaran. It only takes 20 min to get from Tagbilaran to Panglao beaches. What lazy person can't make the 19 km drive? It will ruin the serenity that exists there. Locals are actively fighting a new airport and mall. Expand tourism, but don't ruin what you have.
