Americans in general want to see shows like Two & 1/2 Men were people are laughing instead of being forced to see the evil that they are capable.
That being said, I think it definitely was a brave show to make by those that did. I think this show would have flourished on a channel such as FX where edgy is more acceptable.
I think the reason this show failed is because it really showed a reality that was very possibly in America and I think it scared alot of people from really realizing, that their community could be a Jericho (being constantly preyed upon) or their community could be one that preyed upon others such as New Bern It showed how ugly that America could be when pushed to hard and what we as a people are capable of doing (and in some cases, are doing) to one another.

i hate cbs... i love jericho...i hate them for canceling the show.... i love the fans for gettting it back on... and did you all know that if it comes back for a 3rd season, cbs is going to cut all the older characters like jake's mom and grey...
