Just buy a 3.5" SATA hard drive, you'll be fine. Hard drives are probably the easiest thing to upgrade.

Good review. I have one of the WD 1TB drives (not the green edition) and I think I'll try one of these next time if it's quieter. It doesn't look like a large capacity drive, but you can tell by the weight when you pick it up.

That is just with external drives that come with an internet account allowing you to store files on the web (for free I think), they are restricting the sharing of media files that way, but you can store whatever you want on your hard drive!
