LOL--it was the other way around: I moved from Brooklyn to Terllingua! After 6 years, home to Jersey. Am now the sole caretaker of my brother, who has Down syndrome, and we're in AZ. What a whirlwind life. Is it over yet? LOL!

Yes, Lake-Kat, Big Bend has quite a lot of variety, and many people don't think of these kinds of settings being in Texas. It's a great, not widely known national park.
