  • Sisi l'accord de zelda

  • 2:04 racist moment LOL

  • i fucking love this oldschool beat forreal..i cnt get the whistle out of my head lol

  • Probably doesn't even know what Renaissance means....

    Good sound though.

  • @4esthetic renaissance was bringing back the culture of ancient times to the middle ages, historically speaking, on this album he is trying to bring back the old school vibe so I guess he knows what he's talking about....

  • q tip!! amazing

  • "I don't care who first or who last, I just know y'all better rock this at the drop of a dime baby!"

  • 1:39

    phone is ringing

    oh my god

    get it together

  • Actually I don't like hip hop but this is awesome!

  • This is some ole Rakim flow right here.....Hot

  • ahhhh....that trademark dilla sound.

  • Time to make the Renaissance of the classic 90's

  • Usually I listen to Indie Rock music but this is just brilliant :)

  • Nobody can reach this kinda level, man.

  • last person on the motown label :(

  • I love real hip hop! No bull shit just dope beats and dope lyrics!

  • Man just reading some of the comments and to eachs own who their favorite producer is. I'm a Dilla Head all day everyday...theres no competition. Some or many come close but no one is better. And my argument is when you ask those who you say are better. They say Dilla is their idol. He took things they did and surpassed it...so there you go.

  • @mitsoula For me its Premier. But Dilla is Great also.

  • this track is rolling!!!!

  • 607,892

    really!

  • Met Tip some years ago in the Village and I approached him and thanked him for his contributions to our culture. He was flattered by the show of love and admiration from a guy that listed to ATCQ

  • Why can't we just enjoy dope hip-hop smh?

  • Man the title said Renaissance, check, the title song is vintage renaissance boombap, check,........so why the whole fucking album didn't have this vibe????? What part I missed?........

  • Where is the Legend Button!!!

  • Love it!!

  • q-tip is my hero

  • lyrics are craaaaazy

  • copped this last week ha

  • this is stuck in my head all day long i guess tip meant when he said" this beat is something you can't recover from"

  • really great. i did a search for top Hip hop producers. and it brought me to Q tip and many others. really diggin the beats and the lyrics

  • @UGPify Nice, guessing you checked out J Dilla, Pete Rock, DJ Premier, Dr. Dre, RZA, Large Professor, Havoc, Erick Sermon, and maybe Kanye a few years ago too?

  • @DavSteve i've known dr. dre and RZA for a long time. The RZA is my personal favorite.

  • @DavSteve wtf u mean kanye a few years ago? MBDTF was any beat junkies dream.

  • I love Q'tips music I'm just sorry I was'nt online weeks ago to leave him nice comments, about his music, due to my computer running slow .

  • thumbs up if qtip should remake jazzmatazz in honor of guru

  • They chased him al along for an autograph.Haha amazing.

  • @MrUrosSrb that's what real music will do to you

  • i just love this man.

  • is this song included in the renaissance album? i wanted to buy the album, but i'm not sure if the song is there...

  • @ziarrek it's a hidden track, it comes it right after move. you should totally buy the album, it's great.

  • @ziarrek ... just buy it...

  • @ziarrek yes it is but it's not in the tracklist, it's after the song "Move", which is also a great song. Don't change it, listen to it all the way through, it's there.

  • @ziarrek buy the album man, it's ridiculously consistant, each song is amazing

  • @ziarrek its there...no worries

  • 572,940 of the veiws are mine

  • @mwoogbomo you funny man lol

  • i will NEVER READ your fucking rap book!

  • FINbball and no premo? In my opinion he was the best hip hop producer back in the 90s

  • @TheXatabyc right man, I was just reading my comment and thinking how the fuck could I leave Premo out. He's not m favorite, but definitely one of the greatest, mad consistent and you always recognize his beats. Yeah he should be on there.

  • Illest producers: The RZA, J Dilla, Pete Rock, Havoc, Lord Finesse, Del the Funky Homosapien, E-Swift. Keeping it dirrrrty, u nkow

  • "U see the object of the game is We don't see it as one"

  • dope!

  • why in gods name are lil wayne and justin bieber mentioned in the top comments..

  • yeah lowlands 2011!

  • 500,000 of the views are mine!

  • J Dilla is one of the, if not, the BADDEST producer in history...you can ask any real rapper about that..RiP Dilla and all hail Q-TiP

  • can't wait to see him live on lowlands, maybe more people will hear him there!

  • I THINK Q-TIP IS ONE OF THE FEW PEOPLE WHO CAN FIX THE RAP GAME! If only people spread his name.

  • THANKS Q TIP

  • classic material....true..++++

  • good lyrics. amazing beat. even without Dilla Q-Tip continues make good beats. THIS IS REAL OLD SCHOOL.

  • does anyone know why phife isnt in this song?

  • @swswa221 q-tip knows how to freshen shit up, vivrant thing, me myself and i, and this right here diff decades, still tight shit.

  • Lol wat is he trynna be like jason bourne

  • @Wc3FanBoy Premier is also one of those guys who can argue and say he is the great of all time, but for real he doesn't touch Dilla... Premier strickly has one style and that's the street shit... J Dilla does it all... if ur talking drums Premier can't fuck with Dilla... Premier has the same drum pattern in almost every single song he does.. While Dilla changed up mad and still sounded mad sick...and that's where creativity comes in... no producer fucks with his drums, besides Black Milk today

  • @MoodMuzikFliez ....Premier did create a signature sound with his drum patterns, but to say his style was strictly "street shit" is way off base. Premo's inflexibility in his drum patterns creating a branding effect, so to speak. When you heard a premier beat, you knew it was him and that made him a household name. That said, his selection of sample ranged dramatically ---- he wasnt just street. Dilla was great, but he was hit or miss at times. Premier's body of work is unrivaled in rap.

  • @flipgood89 why is it that when u heard a premier beat that u knew it was him? its cuz the drum beats basically sound the same... at least J dilla would dramatically change his style and still make it hip-hop at the same time... im just saying it takes way more talent to do what Dilla does... if J Dilla wanted he could make a premier beat, he could make Dre beat, Rza beat, ect... J Dilla had so much talent that he coulda tought these producers new techniques in production... he had it all..

  • @MoodMuzikFilez ...Premier is popular with fans and artists because he has created a signature sound that they love. If he switched it up, his fans would revolt. They go to Premier to hear that boom bap, hard edged east coast style. When you hear a Preemo beat, you know its him and thats the point. DJ Premier beats are a brand. Dilla had more latitude for creativity, because he wasnt as established or as popular as premier. Dilla = more experimental. Premier = best and most influential.

  • Comment removed

  • @flipgood89 what about taking risks in changing sound and still have the fans?what about versatilty? J Dilla is the most slept on producer and is still among the the best that ever did it.. he been called the best by the best... his styles of production have been bitten by many... yeah u can make the arguement that DJ premier is arguably the greatest all time but its J Dilla who took production to new levels... J Dilla is the producer's favorite producer.. words cant describe J Dilla's work...

  • @MoodMuzikFilez You speak the truth!

  • @MoodMuzikFilez IMO he isnt slept on if anything he is highly overated in my own opnion if anyone is slept on its Madlib or even Doom's production, but dont get me wrong Dilla has produced some of the best hiphop beats/songs made.

  • @james12786 you dont know what your talking about saying he's overrated... Dilla should be the most recognized producer there is due he can match anyone's production.. he can make a madlib beat. Dre beat... Premier. Rza... he can do anyone and at the same type do a million other styles. and at the same time he was very clever with what he does.. he mastered the MPC.. i agree that Madlib is very slept on but ur comment saying Dilla is overrated is retarded. i already proved my point on this page

  • @MoodMuzikFilez honest to good in my opnion he has very good beats and yes he can make beats that sound similar but not to their standard almost like masters of their sound if you know what i mean, i do agree though he is definetely one of the best producers to live but the overated thing is my own opnion so whatever people say i wont change my thought, just dont think im hating on him as he is good and i do respect him fully.

its a opnion and i should have pointed it out at the beginning

  • @MoodMuzikFilez very true, Madlib was the only guy in opinion to have outdone Dilla on Get It Together, Things You Do and maybe Look Of Love. To me Q-Tip is my favourite, as my whole style is based on he used to pick his samples. But you can definitely see how Jay Dee is some people's favourite producer. no doubt about that. Same with Premier and Pete Rock.

  • @MoodMuzikFliez Very different opinion from MOST people. I'm just saying. DJ Premier did a lot more tracks than Dilla. I can definitely see where you're going with this though. But you make DJ Premier sound like an amateur man. He's just on more hardcore shit. Listen to Gangstarr and compare it with his shit with Wu-Tang, Jeru, Afu Ra... Then tell me if you hear the same drum pattern. (And Black Milk is sick as fuck. You sound like a Detroiter haha.

  • @ahmad312 you dont know for a fact that Premier has more beats than Dilla. each beat made from Dilla was actually made in mintues..Dilla was done with the beat by the time it takes producer pics out the sample. im not making Premier sound like an amatuer he's one of my favorite producers.. but when i actually gave J Dilla a listen and went through all his shit, beats, interviews, ect. i was amazed.idk if u heard all his shit but if u did u should be amazed by what he's done.its not human at all

  • @ahmad312 im from connecticut actually, born in brooklyn, NY so i always been a huge fan of Brooklyn rappers.. but i love Detroit hip-hop.NY hip-hop is the reason why i listen to hip-hop and Detorit Hip-hop is the reaosn why i stil believe in it... Detroit got so much talent MC & producer wise... Black Milk is so filthy...his sampling game and drums has got to be the best right now..and he's improving as an MC as well... did u peep random Axe? shit is crazy

  • @ahmad312 .id could give u nasty list of shit from Detroit Artists just to prove to u how nasty they are..the D is takin hip-hop to new levels.... Im not strickly a Detroit fan i love hip-hop from anywhere.. i know so many sick artists...

  • @MoodMuzikFilez Look up FowL and Obie Iyoha. Michigan Hip Hop up and comers.

  • @ahmad312 yeah i heard Fowl from that Red Bull MC battle thing he won... his Alchemist joint is crazy... im def gonna be looking foward to what he puts out in the future... i dont know who Obie Iyoha tho but ill look...

  • @MoodMuzikFilez Obie Iyoha will be dropping his mixtape soon. He just wants to put the finishing touches before he announces a drop date. FowL did a track with him on the tape. Let me know what you think of his music thats already available.

  • Lupe? He's a fucking tool. Don't even mention him in the same sentence as Tip please. Jackass.

  • @rorrok dude relax. Lupe isn't a tool, that guy has skillz.

but regardless, i admit, Q Tip is a legend.

  • @rorrok no you didnt just call Lupe a tool. Lupe is the only fighting chance, real hip hop has left at the moment. He is not a fucking tool, he is a fucking saint.

  • Check my channel for DOPE music from a YOUNG artist from NC! You won't be disappointed :)! #RealHipHop

    -this beat is crazy....

  • There needs to be like a REAL hip hop woodstock in NY to revive hip hop. Like bouncers need to enforce a list next to the stage that includes not letting in any wack rappers like wayne drake and gucci.

  • I know Kanye and Tip are boys, but seriously, how is Kanye getting more play than a song like this?

  • @WallabeeChamp because .... kanye still makes real hip hop ....he is just relevant in todays market ...q-tip isnt (if it was 92 - 95) then it would be other way round and people need to stop going on like kanye aint got real hiphop in him the guys got bars and is hard headed like the old skool rappers

  • @omd0 q-tip is and always will be ten times the lyricist kangay is and q-tip will always be relevant you obviously dont know real hip hop.and he's not hard headed he's a fucking piece of shit no class hood rat.

  • @metalfrommaine wow ...your not a hater

  • @HatersNations I think it's appropriate to say that Mos Def sounds like Tip, although I don't agree.

  • reminds me of Jason Bourne

  • @lilwayne19 then it would be called reconassaince rap! ... aaahahahahaha

  • DILLA!!!! THE BEST!

  • did tip produce this or dilla?

  • @newslang835 Dilla.

  • When he said Decipherer I just thought he was gonna say Phifer lol. Is it just me?

  • Where was this exactly filmed?

  • yes q-tip.

    Brilliant song,beat,rap.

This guy was the sickest rapper in A Tribe Called Quest, defining on the mic.

A Tribe Called Quest have been around for ages and its good to see good retro proper rap! Long awaited

And Justin Bieber is more popular than this guy?

This song alone puts Lil Waynes music history to shame:)

  • @Keif92 bullshit

  • gangsta rap killed real hiphop

  • @sweiland75 im sorry rap is rap ...... gangsta rap is not a genre on its own ....hip-hop its self came from the streets ...the heart of new york bronx .... rap is not a genre it is story of many's struggle .... their may be different TYPES of rappers but rap itself is one genre ... that is why when you get people like soulja boy mudering rap its not fair ...(but hey, these days you rhyme a couple words together ......THEN YOU A RAPPER) its just ridiculous

  • who else thinks that blonde chick is really hot?

  • @bboysilk Not thaaat hot

  • Heck in this video he looks a little like Lupe too. Big up to Q-Tip for continuing to make good music 20 years on.

  • i keep thinking phife is gonna drop a verse in this song

  • Comment removed

  • @ThaCLIFFBROS True that Cliff

  • @ThaCLIFFBROS Yea.. both have same flow just from different times. Buggin Out '09 With Kid Cudi n Consequence is another dope track

  • @ThaCLIFFBROS Lupe is overrated, Tip is underrated. Lupe doesn't really sound like him, Lupe sounds like a cranky 14 year old... I used to like him when i first got into hip hop but he's really not that good...

  • @ThaCLIFFBROS never, q tip sound like q tip. his voice is so uniqe that no one can even come close to sounding like him

  • @bobtrol soo?

  • he sounds like lupe fiasco

  • @bobtrol Nahh fool, Lupe sounds like Q-tip..

  • q tip is a legend

  • I wish Q tip would drop more music..His Voice and Flow are soo soothing.

  • its seems to be paying homage to the bourne movies
