This series was kinda boring everyone knew Yasmina would win it right from the get go and Kate would probably would be in the final with her. Nothing against Yasmina it was just a kinda obvious series in terms of who stood out to win.

Sure, everything is a risk, but you want to take a risk with someone who you feel would benefit you and your business, and not just for the huge salary at play.
I do not think sugar boy is that good a businessman. he would have gone bankrupt with amstrad if it was not for rupert murdoc giving him the sky dish deal on a sliver plater. his amstrad company was badly run, made enemies with distributors. and i am not buy that he went from a stall to having cash to build a computer company. he is not a good businessman. he has no business just property and some small advertising company.
@mrwfraser excuse me, but what bad businessman have you seen that has made and maintained such a fortune as he had done in the time that he had done, trust me on this, he has alot more business experience than most of us could dream of.
I disagree with him sayin that they were the best two he's ever had - i think the apprentice has got progressively worse as it went on. I think the best two he ever had were Tim and Saira- from the first series

umm....yasmina was truly the deserving candidate...i would really be hurt if i was dropped out at the last moment..or in the first episode itself..its tough..but, sir alan knows what he's doing...he's an amazing man..!!! i envy him...and aspire to be as successful as him.....

Really the only reason for Reallity TV shows(apart from keeping the heard entertained so that they dont' become angry with real reallitys outside of TV) is the Money made from the voteing,which is useually a fraud in and of itself anyway.But hey thats TV for ya'.
The bbc filmed two endings to the final- one where sir alan hired kate and one where he hired yasmina. this is to stop the winner being leaked by the press before the show airs. the girls were only told the result by sir alan on friday.

They're filmed in August I think. Between the final being filmed and the final being aired, he hires both finalists to work for him for that time period and I think his decision is made based on that moreso than anything else
Thanks. If this is so it's not revealed on the show. You get the impression that the decision is entirely based on their performance while carrying out the tasks he gives them. If what you are suggesting is true, I think this should be made clear to the viewers. He doesn't say a word on any actual work experience when arriving at his final decision.
Kate should of won it, even though im 13. and also that even though yasmina had the best appearance of the box, i dont know about the name, but kate knew what she was saying, best presetation, and the advert..shes been the most succesfull!
I thought at the time that both their reactions were a bit strange. This has actually ruined it for me. I think this is probably the last time I'm going to watch it. It wasn't as good as previous series and now with Margaret going, I think it's peaked as a show.
Yeah I know. It was to prevent the winner being leaked by the film crew or someone in production probably. But I think the show has pretty much run it's course. The other thing I think is hilarious is that that huge glass tower, Canary Wharf tower, isn't actually where Alan Sugar's company is based. Apparently it's some little nondescript warehouse in the East End.
Truth be told Alan Sugar actually does all the work. He sets up the contacts, the clients, the places, the experts who help the candidates. It's not that hard really, they just turn up and piece together the jigsaw he's left for them. I think it would be interesting if the process were longer and they actually had to find the people, places, contacts and clients themselves. It would actually be a greater test, and might be interesting because success wouldn't necessarily be guaranteed.
Why was it the best so far? It had a couple of good moments, the sandlewood fiasco was pretty funny, but in general it was same old same old. I always liked the production quality of the series, the music and camera work was spot on, very polished which was impressive, but if you've seen it before you get bored with it. The music is good, but it's been the same since the first series. They even repeat the tasks. They did the telly sales thing before.
What about the guy who won the first series, he got extended for another year and he left after that to make his own company. Not too shabby! And he was black getting rid of the rumours that Sir Alan is racist, and Yasmina who is Iranian? Sorry if i got it wrong.
At the end of the day, he's much more successful and a lot richer than a hell of a lot of people. I wouldn't mind being a 'twat' if I was successful and rich and I'm definitely not the only one. There's a lot of people in the world who are twats as well as being poor and not having a good job. I'd much rather be Alan Sugar than those people and no-one's perfect anyway so it's rare you'll find some-one who's rich, successful and a really lovely guy who's thoughtful and kind.
Kate was ok but I didnt like her because shes with that cockface phillip. If kate won, phillip would've been milking it & acting like charlie bigspuds.
I think Sir Alan chose the best candidate(Yasmina) and he will not regret it.

Thanks. If this is so it's not revealed on the show. You get the impression that the decision is entirely based on their performance while carrying out the tasks he gives them. If what you are suggesting is true, I think this should be made clear to the viewers. He doesn't say a word on any actual work experience when arriving at his final decision.

I thought at the time that both their reactions were a bit strange. This has actually ruined it for me. I think this is probably the last time I'm going to watch it. It wasn't as good as previous series and now with Margaret going, I think it's peaked as a show.

Yeah I know. It was to prevent the winner being leaked by the film crew or someone in production probably. But I think the show has pretty much run it's course. The other thing I think is hilarious is that that huge glass tower, Canary Wharf tower, isn't actually where Alan Sugar's company is based. Apparently it's some little nondescript warehouse in the East End.

Truth be told Alan Sugar actually does all the work. He sets up the contacts, the clients, the places, the experts who help the candidates. It's not that hard really, they just turn up and piece together the jigsaw he's left for them. I think it would be interesting if the process were longer and they actually had to find the people, places, contacts and clients themselves. It would actually be a greater test, and might be interesting because success wouldn't necessarily be guaranteed.

Why was it the best so far? It had a couple of good moments, the sandlewood fiasco was pretty funny, but in general it was same old same old. I always liked the production quality of the series, the music and camera work was spot on, very polished which was impressive, but if you've seen it before you get bored with it. The music is good, but it's been the same since the first series. They even repeat the tasks. They did the telly sales thing before.

At the end of the day, he's much more successful and a lot richer than a hell of a lot of people. I wouldn't mind being a 'twat' if I was successful and rich and I'm definitely not the only one. There's a lot of people in the world who are twats as well as being poor and not having a good job. I'd much rather be Alan Sugar than those people and no-one's perfect anyway so it's rare you'll find some-one who's rich, successful and a really lovely guy who's thoughtful and kind.
