The people who made the first two guitar hero games make rockband. THey wanted to expand guitar hero, but the owners didnt feel it was worth the risk. So the gh1 and gh2 makers left to make rockband. GUitar hero then began to be made by the people who make the Tony Hawk games. GH had to expand anyway, i think that they should have allowed the makers to expand guitar hero. Rockbands full band experience is superior to GH.
