TCM Remembers 2011 : Before You Go by OK Sweetheart

Two moments which are stellar in this memoriam: Peter Falk, a'la THE PRINCESS BRIDE, saying "as you wish," and Elizabeth Taylor- cleverly placed AT THE VERY END of this video- somberly but radiantly walking off in a rainstorm- breathtaking. TCM's memorials rock- and they always make me cry a little.

Every time I saw this on TCM when they were playing it...I couldn't help crying.....It still brings tears to my eyes.....

I wish that ABC & TCM could work out something....so that TCM could handle the entire "In Memorium" segment of each year's Oscar telecast. They always do such a wonderful job with these things.

When Ted Turner left CNN it went immediately down hill. I always fear that when Ted Turner dies that TCM will go straight and immediately down hill.

These people all left something behind. As long as the world stands and even when we are all dead and gone generations will always be watching their movies. They may be gone but never forgotten. As long as their movies are watched they live forever. Funny when you watch their movies, you watch the movies and never think they are no longer with us for that short time they are very much alive!

This morning I caught a showing of this on TCM, and was immediately moved to tears. It is sad that we lost so many greats, and the song seems so appropriate. Great job TCM on the video and choice of music. Cheers to OK Sweetheart.
