  • #Fail...

  • americans fucked bape up, too many hypebeasts. Bape has transformed and is still more of a concept brand, which really stilll makes it attractive for me. you can make any brand look fucking terrible if you dont wear it correctly and overdue it.

  • New pharrell and kanye inspired clothing line

    w w w.coeur-brise.c o m

  • wtf mike tyson there?

  • LOL wow all this for BAPE!

  • bape was cool, right until jermaine dupri wore it

looking at my bape tee now, and i feel let down

  • Mr. Williams should have worn Bape clothings.

  • @edisondick trust me... he wore a bape. his cell phone case was bape, AND... his custom bape X casio X jacob dw6900 g-shock watch, the silver/platinum joint. Mr. Williams probably wore over $18K in bape gear. he represents thats fa sho

  • Same how everyone's wearing: Louis Vuitton, Christian Louboutins, YSL or Martin Margiela right now, for Americans it's all hype. BAPE is a lifestyle, more than just a street urban fashion brand. That's why Pharrell said, "What Bathing Ape represents is how far your imagination can actually go & actually turn into fruition." Nigo, Pharrell and Kanye has been all about that lifestyle.

  • In America, people buy BAPE because of their exclusivity & imported retail price. Famous people in general liked it for that reason. The only ones who are able to comprehend the label's true intent are the Japanese (of course), Pharrell, Kanye and some other loyal fans throughout the world. SouljaBoy, Jermaine Dupri--they bought it because it cost $500 for a pair of shoes & you're "ballin" when you have a rack full of it.

  • LA store closed. blame recession, niggas cant afford overpriced nike rip offs anymore.

  • man i rarely buy bape now Jermaine Dupri looks like an dumb ass wearing it Oh yeah when did Mike Tyson car for BAPE

  • man i rarely buy bape now Jermaine Dupri looks like an dumb ass wearing it

  • @johnnycage435 : D!!!

  • it's a wonderful thing

  • overrated

  • JD is lame

  • wtf is Mike Tyson doing @ bapee thoooo ?!

  • @austinmanigo9 they invite celebs to give attention to the event. it`s like

  • Honeslty I've never really seen people wear Bape, Icecream, BBC, none of that stuff. Every once and awhile I'll see it, but it never really seemed big. Plus most of the stuff I saw wasn't real.lol Well its been out this long, someone must be wearing it.

  • ***i have a XL Green Camo Bape Hoodie i want to trade for L if anyone has it plz message***

  • would you really want BBC or BAPE to be cheaper?

every joe and sally would wear it

...its already too common now haha

  • @adidasaj i do agree but it`s way over price even Gucci and LV don`t come close to their prices

  • @RealDefentertainment

BBC and BAPE aren't that expensive

t-shirts are $100-150, sweaters $200-300.... that's higher end but it's not top-end. Gucci or Dior Homme or DSQuared for the same item will cost 2-4x as much.

With all the BAPE in circulation, the new official Pirate Stores, and the easier access to BBC -- they're not nearly as expensive or rare as they were 2-3 years ago.

  • oh, and not only is it cheaper, it's easier, too

    more official stores

    tons and tons of collabs

and easier to find authentic 3rd party websites or eBayers

(i've used a few and only of might be fake, it's hard to tell - the other 2 are definitely authentic based on appearance, and the eBay one is authentic because I know him and where he gets it)

  • and what the fuck do you work as

  • If only prices dropped more lol

  • dupri- "who is this kid in japan that got the same stuff i got..." Bitch- he owns the shit you bought!

  • he meens the same cars and stuff :P not the clothing

  • i guess that makes sense.

  • @RenjiLambrusco he meant the same cars he had idiot!!

  • i already heard this shit from someone else. but i guess what i really wanted to say was FUCK JERMAINE DUPRI.

    thanks for the update though

  • yah, the way he said that shit was pretty BIG HEADED like, "He got the same stuff i got...." what a bitch.

  • @RenjiLambrusco Didn't he mean like the cars? Cause he said he saw that Nigo had the same cars he had.

  • @RenjiLambrusco lol i caught that too. the self-absorbtion of the average human being is astounding....

  • i like Bape i hate what the Hypebeast have done to it here in america.

  • soo true

  • I blame it on Rap music lol. From about 2005-2008 I heard plenty of songs that had something to do about Bape, then after awhile I just stopped hearing about it.

  • @BeThUkE soulja boyeeee killed the trend. When this cornball started "rapping" about it. he tarnished the buzz.

  • @jreese66 I agree, so many people here were sporting fake Bathing ape! They totally killed it.

  • @jreese66 BAPE was THE SHIT in the late 90's esp the UK scene.. James Lavelle, DJ Shadow, more... America has RUINED IT.

  • @mrblackmagichimself don't forget Ian Brown!! I remember seeing Browny wearing Bape waaaay back early 90's. America ruins and comercialises everything...they like to jump on bandwagons and try to make them too epic. Modern days examples I can think of on top of my head is Dubstep, fucking ruining that, got Britney Spears producing pile of wank dubstep, and All Saints the clothing brand is just getting way too much hype. FACKIN YANKS

  • that's just personal flavour my friendd.

  • Proud of ya, P :)

  • lol
