While I don't necessarily believe all these conspiracy theories, I have to say most of the world is exactly the way you would want them to be if you were going to try and run a conspiracy. Most people are so sure that nothing is happening that the government would barely have to do anything to hide it from them. One of the best things the government could do to hide a conspiracy is leak a video to Youtube. Most of the world would immediately dismiss it.

the point of half of these shows that delve into these 'eerie' subjects is to disprove it with either the weakest evidence it's got OR to giggle when you're about to explain the theory like this guy does. I've watched countless shows about UFOs, ghosts, even things with hard evidence that all use the same format. Just a part of the submission/conditioning system. Remember first they laugh at you, then they get angry, then they fucken learn.

As for comments about runways, I am not actually subscribing to the idea they even are "runways"- people assuming they are. Even if they were, I doubt they are runways in the strictest sense. They would be more of a sign of appraisal and respect for the visitors if anything, not because the alien craft would need to skim down a runway to land properly.
