I hope you all make it. I'm hooked to painkillers to it's the worst thing I have ever had to try.but I have been taking a lot of powerful pain meds for 5 years now.I wish I could quit
@Vdoom11 You can quit. But you have to consider your situation with your pain.Because mine is covered by an electrical stimulator implant,I had alternative pain control.I still get bad pain that knocks me to the ground. But giving up the pain meds, although I get jabbed every time I have to go into hospital every 2 months, the meds work better & you feel better.
I can support you all you need if you decide that you want to do this.BUT get the OK from your Dr first.
was on Methadone for 4 years--110 mgs--been off for 6 months as well as other opiates--wish i never would have been to a clinic--its been 6 months and i still sweat at night-leg spasms--wish i wouldhave just manned up yrs ago -slave to the clinic---its worse than Heroin to kick--methadone is a life sentence-at the time it seemed like better solution--WRONG

I was detoxing off Tramal,Tramadol SR,Valium,Oxazepam,Temazepam,Ordine,Effexor and a few more which I just stopped cold turkey BUT that was very dangerous.

I love hearing the success stories. Especially after people have seen my videos.
By the way I noticed something. When I did my 1st video NO ONE ELSE was doing these videos, now there are heaps after the day I started them. Maybe people realised it's not something to be ashamed of but be proud of the toughness it takes.
@balckbettystack i meant every word of it too, my mom has cancer and was prescribed 100mg morphine HCL and it was the most painful feeling watching her suffer through withdrawls when they took her off it, so i can sympathize with you about all your aches n pains, dont let ANYONE tell you different that your pain is only minor, hope your well. take care.
im actually on methadone and really want to get off now im so scared though. do you have any tips on how to get thru it. i have two little girls aged 3 & 19mths and dont want them to see the withdrawel process. well done for getting off the meds though fantastic.
Hi,, i am also suffering from Achlasia now.. please tell me how to prevent it from getting worse? and how long did it lasted?? im 21 years old. i really need help.
@balckbettystack hi ive seen your vids and they are so inspiring. I am on methadone and really want to get off it. Im really scared though as i have 2 little girls aged 3 & 19mths and dont want them to see me go through the withdrawels. Have you got any tips on how to make it a little easier and how long did it take you before you started to sleep and feel ok again .
@balckbettystack hi ive watched your vids theyre so inspiring. do you have any tips to make withdrawel a little easier. i know withdrawal is never easy i have done them before but never off methadone. i have two little girls aged 3 & 19mths and dont want them to see me go through the withdrawals process. how long did it take before you felt ok and could sleep again without the drugs. well done for doing it hope i have as much courage as you do.
lol you were like me, like I was about spring. I was so excited when it started. I wish so much that I could be as strong and inspiring as you. YOu have such a wonderfull sense of humor even through your pain. I havent seen yet, but does this mean you cant eat either?
I wish I would have known sooner. I feel like I lost out on a wonderfull friend. You are such a fighter. I wish I was as strong.
Glad to hear your doing well off the pain meds now, it's one hell of an animal to fight off. The Medtronic Neurostimulation Implant amazes me, I think in the long run it would help people alot more!
OMG! I am so sorry for all your pain & suffering. It's amazing how cheerful you are considering what you've been through & continue to go through. Have you ever tried frequency treatment using a Rife-type frequency generator?
I so hope that you manage to source a CURE & become pain FREE for life.
I believe that major 'changes' will occur within the next 4 - 6yrs & that we'll learn of new & awesome, safe & affordable technologies that will benefit everyone, everywhere.
Hope you got back to work by now. I wish there was something I could do for your pain. You have really been through the ringer what with your chronic disorders and that God awful Kidney Stone. Please let me know how you are doing. I myself have all these opioid based pain killers left over from my stone last Oct/Nov (it was a sage!) and I won't touch them. I convince myself that pain can always be worse. Funny the oral tablets didn't do a thing for my stones anyway.
I hope you all make it. I'm hooked to painkillers to it's the worst thing I have ever had to try.but I have been taking a lot of powerful pain meds for 5 years now.I wish I could quit

@lyrsisttillthedeath1 I am so sorry they did that to your mum. It's cruel. And to do that when she is sick with cancer.
Why did they stop her meds?
I hope she didn't suffer too much.

My Neurosurgeon has written another Medical Journal article on using the implant for other Achalasia sufferers to control their pain as well.
If 60 Minutes ever does the interview, then even more of the public would know this device exsists.

It took me 4 years to become happy enough to live the life I now have been dealt.
I use a Neurostimulator which is electrical impulses that block the pain signals getting to my brain.
It is planted against my spinal cord.
It decreases my pain by 95% at times.
unfortantly i broke it!But it get's fixed in 2 days.
