The Canadian Pacific Railroad runs the steam train 'Empress' from Calgary to Ontario and back every summer. We filmed it running between Swift Current Saskatchewan and Medicine Hat, Alberta - some of the best open prairie country in the Canadian West. Where the train ran south of the tracks we raced to intersections to film it passing and when it ran on the north side, parallel to the highway - I drove and my wife filmed out of the window.
