The pilots may no longer be as experienced but the are recieveing 1st class training. i will gladly pay for a ticket with them because of there safety, on board entertainment, efficientcy and many other reasons. I know mechanics that have quit there because the company threatened them with dismissal unless they signed off an aircraft as safe when it did not meet required maintenance standards. Cap Ternay is well looked after already and results from surveys carried out here are included in important scientific journals - the last thing Bay Ternay needs is a swanky hotel being built upon it, and tourists traipsing all over it.

But the reef is precisely why Bay Ternay is so valuable. Species have been found in the Bay that have been found in NO OTHER PLACE in the world. This is a MONEY-MAKING initiative, NOT an environmental one. The only reason they haven't been able to commence building there is because of an old Seychellois man refusing to let them buy a crucial part of his land despite his being offered vast cash sums for it.

Cap Ternay in the Seychelles is ALREADY a marine reserve that is being being surveyed year round by volunteer divers through GVI. If Emirates were the environmental warriors they declares themselves to be, WHY are they kicking GVI out and opening Bay Ternay to potential desecration??? Rich clients want smooth sand to wade out on, not sharp coral - there is therefore a good chance part of the reef will be dredged.
