Im about to buy a dodge challenger srt8, it will be my first car. but i am not as happy with the exhaust after watching this. lol does anyone know if i can request it when i talk to the dealer about the car?
The reason he has a automatic, Because they actually are faster believe it or not. I know, Usually the stick is faster. But with today's cars in a 5 or 6 speed just does t mix. My opinion, I wouldn't get any new car in a stick besides a, ZO6, 5.0 Mustang. All the faster stuff. But go have your self a test drive of the, Automatic, And a stick. I have a, 2011 Challenger R/T, It is a automatic.
Flowmaster 40's sound great but I'd rather have a sharp stick in the eye than have to go back to living with them every day. Way too much interior resonance. I like my 70's much better!
I need this for my Detonator Yellow SRT-8. I LOVE Hemi Orange though. They need to bring that color back instead of the copper orange for 2011 (Toxic Orange) and the yellow orange for 2012 (Header Orange). If they did that, I'd be tempted to get a 392.
Flowmaster exhausts are an aftermarket product but a dealer might be able to arrange to have your car delivered with a different exhaust for a price.
