There is a story of it, kinda too large to explain about in Youtube comments. Helghan was originally a colony, colonized by those of Earth to supply Earth with the resources it needed to carry it's population. Helghan broke from what it was suppose to do and took a planet. That is a summary. Go go Killzone's web site and check it out.

Effectively, Rico doomed the ISA Marines to be stuck on Helgan, so yeah. Rico killed Visari, Helghast Ships come out of no where destroying ISA fleet, Marines are stuck on a planet.

first i dont know why they waited to make killzone 2 for so long the graphics are a million times better though second my favorite weapon is the machine gun that the helghast generals have it has a high rate of fire and its very powerful i think this dude had it when he was in visari square or fighting to get there cant remember

I wonder if the designers intentionally made the end of this game similar to the end of Apocalypse Now. In this the guy says "Madness Madness" as he's dying while in Apocalypse Now, Colonel Kurtz (Marlon Brando) says "The Horror The Horror" as he's dying. Anyone else pick that up? Visari kind of looks like Colonel Kurtz as well.

yeah I got that too but not from the movie. I just read the book "Apoclypse now" was based on - "Heart of darkness". In the book Kurtz says "The horror, the horror" before he dies. Its kinda the same I guess.
