  • Hail to the chief

  • BARAK )** :)

  • Koreans counting on OBAMA!!!!!!!!

  • Dang, this man can put together some very strong speeches. The question is though...can he pull through with what he says? I'm not saying I don't believe it, but he has to pull something out of his ass to get us out this hole that our previous president's have put us into.

  • what is mistakes? Not listening to people?

he already learned to listen to people..

    unlike all the other politicians.

  • And yet.... just like all other politicians.

  • i vote obama

  • uh duh! thats what he is suppose to do...bring to light to decisions made by his running mates, they are called the "issues", their decisions are what have governed the people and put us in the position we are in during the present. Their past and future decisions that they make for the present and future of america is what we are suppose to be voting on.

  • INDIANA (NC too) PLEASE DO WHAT YOU KNOW IS RIGHT & VOTE OBAMA '08! HE IS THE VOICE OF "US CITIZENS" SO WE NEED TO SUPPORT HIM IN ALL HE DOES. SPREAD THE WORD & DONATE DONATE DONATE!

  • "The reason (George H. W. Bush's tactic) works so well now is that you have all these economically insecure white people who are scared to death," Clinton was quoted saying by the Los Angeles Times in September 1991."

if the clintons say it its ok?

    can you say hipocracy?

  • town hall meeting? wasn't this at ball state university?

  • He says true words.. the rest of the candidates run for publicity and try to put him down because they know that the power of people is well above the power of money and as Obama has said in his other speeches was only compliments to the other candidates and I think he is right in every way. I live in the United Kingdom and yet I wish that he was the president here as a lot of work needs to be done.. around the whole world with the power of the people.

    Arnold

  • I just had to come here to see just what true "commenting" was.

  • I don't like Hillary Clinton. I don't like John McCain. But I don't like anyone who second guesses my convictions or anyone else's. I never second guessed your conviction to your pastor. Don't second guess mine. If you want my vote Mr. Obama and you want to find common ground on many of this country's social issues, You first have to put your cards on the table.

  • I don't want to say this guy is Elitist but I just saw him order a $12 latte and sent it back for being too bitter. Too Bitter.

    OBAMA 2008

  • hi thank you for your time:yes he can talk and he sounds good.one problem!he and hilliy babe seem to be saying, i'm sorry to much. not good.say what you mean and stand by it.called a back bone.that is a good man or women.thank you kb mitchell

  • check out "Obama Reach"

energy in search of sourcr to achieve reaction

  • It's the truth

  • just because this man has charm and give good speeches does not mean he would be a great president. his comments were out of touch for PA people and not true. he does not speak the truth. the word bitter and angry does not have the same.

  • ohhh yeah he is so great when he wants to raise taxes on the american people for a health care plan when we are already trillions of dollars in debt. What is good is health care if you can't afford to pay for your house? Your food? or clothes? All he is,is a motivational speaker. He doesn't address the ideas from an economic stand point. Yeah he is so great. You all need to wake up.

  • Let 'em have it Barack, the gloves are off and it's a celebrity death-match. We tried to be polite, we tried to be nice, but Hillary just doesn't get it anymore. We're fed up with the Clintons, and we want them out! We need to sink their battleship for the sake of the Democratic Party.

  • Obama is probably one of the best speakers I have heard as a presidential candidate. But my brother is a salesmen and is as well a great speaker. ge can make you feel as if you by his product, you'll save 200 african children, stop global warming, and all for a cheaper price than anyone else would sell this same modle car. the problem is you can't belive any thing he say's. And that is all Obama has going for him, that not a president to me. I don't want a socialist Salesmen for president...

  • Senator Obama is right on. People are bitter and feel left out, damn straight. The talking heads on tv don't know what they're talking about. We've got problems in this country and need to solve them, bottom line.

  • This is all just fairy tale talk. Obama knew Senator Clinton's passion for duck hunting back in her Arkansas days. It's no coincidence that he was referring to Sen. Clinton as a bitter working person.

  • Rasmussen Poll April 13th, 2008

    Clinton 46%

    Obama 45%

First poll taken since Obama's comments on small town america's bitterness and attachment to guns, religion and hatred of immigrants.

  • Obama is no better than hillary or mccain

  • he doesnt stands a chance with Mccain,i think ppl started disliking Mccain only because of his party or because hes a friend of bush, but is easy to see that politics and friendships are not the same here, so Mccain is not bush, and now hes got more ppl because ppl is not stupid in this country.

  • At least if Obama wins the election nobody can technically pull the race card anymore....THANK GOD!!!! (maybe I could pull the race card as a white male);)

  • Truth is the weapon which both hurts and heals the most, especially when turned upon one*self . . .

    BL*M

  • Well Said

  • There is no way Hillary or McCain can make Obama seem disingenuious ... his honesty, sincerity, intelligence and continued choice to take the high road is refreshing, motivating and leaves us with a true sense of hope .... FINALLY! Thank you Obama!

  • it's about time, america's the great country and always has been

  • Heyyy my name is Tiara. I went there to see Brack talk. He is very smart man.

Also the little boy at the end of his speec was so cute...

    VOTE OBAMA...

    O-B-A-M-A

  • Barack Obama tells the truth.

A lot of working people ARE bitter and frustrated, because they've been lied to again and again by politicians who promise them help but then only look out for the Fat Cats.

Barack Obama has seen this up close as a community organizer.

He's out to change things BIG. He's building a movement to take government back from the Fat Cats. That scares the Republications, the newly-rich Clintons, and John McCain to death.

    Right on! Go Obama 08!

  • CNN,MSNBC, Fox news is All Fix New.

Obama will win! They will try and try to stop him,... but will fail. I am "BITTER" and "PiSS OFF" the media is on the take! The rich media giants can't take it!!!

    Voting Obama 08!!!!

  • You got that right! Who is happy about gas prices, loss of jobs, and pension. Yes I am BITTER!! Hillary "Annie get your gun" Clinton will do and say anything to win. I still don't see the controversy.

  • I AGREE! I appreciate all of u supporting our NEXT PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!

  • McCain confuses Shia and Sunni, says he has no idea about the economy -but that's ok.

Hillary Clinton ridicules questions w/a cackle or makes up stories..her spouse keeps adding new lies -hey that's ok, too.

Obama speaks the truth and everybody freaks out over the word "bitter"?

They even have the impertinence to call him an "elitist" and say he is looking down at folks?

You don't mind being lied to or treated like dimwits, but hearing the truth?? What the hell is wrong with people!!

  • I hate politics, but it would be a travesty if this guy lost.

  • I absolutely agree with Barack - Republicans HAVE distracted rural voters with gay marriage and flag burning while our country goes down the tubes, BUT STILL - I think its incredibly foolish for him to be bringing this out into the open before he's even won the Democratic nomination. Barack needs to worry about getting to the White House before he can start healing America.

  • Barack Obama is going to be the best president

    and he speaks the truth

    very refreshing

and he takes this country serious

hes smart occasionally funny and charismatic.

we all should vote for Obama!!!

  • I feel bitter about the idiots we have to choose from, and now we have to hear this one cover his BS. We're screwed. Vote for "None of the above" in 08

  • indiana is aweomse! he came to easthighschool in my town and like all the schools were turned on to the nighschools new station

  • PEACE! Obama 08!!

  • The truth shall set you free. Of course, people are bitter. In this country we call a spade a spade unless it is in political campaign. Obama is telling it like it is. He has my respect.

  • I attended this speech and it was amazing. Obama is the only candidate who speaks the truth about the problems we are facing. Finally, a candidate who treats the American people like adults and knows what needs to be done in order to bring everyone together to solve the issues we face. OBAMA' 08!!!

  • When he says we need a government that pays attention, he tells the truth. But when he dismisses as mere bitterness the values of millions of Americans, whether it be their "clinging" to their faith or the 2nd Amendment, then he reveals himself to be a prancing elitist who just doesn't get it. The blush is off the rose. We are getting to see the real Obama now, and America would be throwing one big gutterball if we elect him as out next POTUS.

  • At taxtime chuck norris just sends in a blank form with a photo of himself crouched and ready to atack..chuck norris has never paid taxes..ever..

Barack obama has a plan to make even chuck norris and other rich jerks pay there share

  • If I were in Indiana, I'd help ya! I get what you're saying Obama about the working class. Been there, done that, and lost my job because of NAFTA.

  • Yes, I am bitter and frustrated.

  • hes good at openning up these kind of dialouges and that is pragmatic. but lets stop talking to the army about when and how to end the war and start talking to iran.

  • How is he going to go about doing all these things? How is he going to change it?

  • I rather have a canidate like Obama who is honest about what is going on and shows a strong concern, then Canidates like John Mcain and Hilary Clinton who says stuff like I love America and get nothing done.

    BARACK OBAMA 2008!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I remember when Barack Obama said that he wants to be a canidate that tells people not just what they want to here, but what they need to know. This is a good example of that

    OBAMA 2008!!!!!!!!!!

  • im only 11.barak would be the best president of america.hes smart ocasionally funny and charismatic.also i like how someone finnaly

knows what we need and he WILL give us what we need

  • In response to stsrambo:

Don't let your age stop you.

You can help by speaking the truth so that others who are able to vote will listen to your message of hope.

We must not allow anything stop us.

And for those of you who live in another country or for some reason are unable to vote, you could simply donate any amount of money - remember, Obama appreciates us - so he understands that we are not millionaires.

    Yes we can !!

  • Finally I have a reason to vote for Obama: People use religion as a crutch to escape from their problems.

This is so true, but so anti-American.

Sorry, Obama, you will not get elected in America.

    Try China next.

  • I think the religion speaks for where he was and is. Immigration is not an issue? It isn't immigration, it is migration. Mexico is not poor. Let them take care of their own, not overburden our economy. If illegal is sanctioned, we don't need jails. These are your educational funds. 180K brains imported with more education than you. Think about it, 12 million in the lower grades and 180K above most. If this spread in middle class isn't in the wrong country, I don't know what is.

  • he`s telling the truth, and nothing but the truth. just like it is....straight talk.

Hillary think she claimes to know what bitter means, but you can`t even get an clue I think, what a bitter life means when you have 109 mill.

Barack = from the bottom up not from the top down.

Even I as a person from Holland can see that.

  • The Clinton campaign disects every syllable Obama says, then jumps all over him for telling the truth. I'm glad he explained himself and softened the statement. This is an example why people like him so much - he has a lot of integrity and compassion....and most importantly doesn't lie to the people of America.

  • isn't this guy taking hilarys ideas, and re-wording them?

  • 08AMA

  • They clapped for "we are the ones we've been waiting for." Now they clap for "we're all bitter." I think the hard core Obama folks would clap for almost anything he might tell them. But America as a whole isn't going to buy this. The election is now McCain's to lose.

  • Bitter doesent matter! If the Clinton campaine has not more to do instead looking what Obama resentle sayed and then make a big bubble out of it? I mean if she can't winn just wait and see if he is making a mistake. Is this a help for anybody? Lead this behavior to anywehre?

Mrs. Clinton is not ready for President, maybe never will..

  • Obama08. You can always trust this man to tell the truth. Obama's words were not ill-chosen, they were just 'POLITICALLY incorrect'. But that's the point. He's here to change the way politics are done in Washington. It's so sad that the American people have to retrain their ears to hear the truth and accept it for what it is. Not an insult to the working class, but an observation of how Washington ignores and makes us feel unimportant. Obama is paying close attention + will tell you what's what.

  • go obama!

  • We are bitter, and we are angry! Colorado WANTS YOU BARACK! It's time for change, change we can believe in. You are so right Obama, you are so right!

  • Tackling tough issues head on with candor and vigor, now that's the kind of stuff true leaders are made of.

  • Right on the point vote obama.

  • This is so offensive. Barack Obama not only says this about rural america but has the nerve to do it behind the backs of the state of PA and to the people in SF. I wonder how the comment "So, they cling to Religion" will go in the general election. Then after he is caught saying these things then he makes it out like he was upfront with the people of PA. Shame on you Obama anyone one but you in 08. Maybe Hillary still has a chance

  • OBAMA 08! Yes We Can!

  • If he speaks the truth why didn't he do this in PA before running to SF and saying it. This is Spin. Obama your comments are not hope. They are remarks and personal attacks that make people bitter. Good luck with that "Cling to religion....Hope..Nope

  • Barack Obama tells it like it is. He isn't just another fake politician, he is real.

  • cmon pennsylvania we need you !!

we just want to lose less then 10 points and hillary is out from this game !

and remember your vote in PA is worth as two votes !! yes two votes !!

because if you vote for obama hillary must find 2 votes to cover that vote !!

    YES WE CAN ...

and im fired up and ready to go !!

barack obama till the end 2008 !!

  • I just feel Obama's remarks was condescending and disappointing and undercutting his message of hope.

  • Mr. Obama sounds a little bit bitter here.

  • Obama = awesome.

  • What was up with Jason Castro? He looked like he'd rather be ANYWHERE else but on stage.

  • The Clintonites and Republicans are out of their god damn minds!

What? They expect people to smile and revel in the misery George Bush has brought to their lives?

Are the Clintons crazy? This was a mistake on their part and Pennsylvanians that are pissed at Bush now see no difference between Bush, McCain and Hillary.

AMERICA AND OBAMA Vs. FOX/CNN/Dobbs/Blitzer/Limbaugh/Bush/McCain/Clinton/The rightwing/Democratic party elitists.

  • Barack Obama is a very candid candidate. He challenges us to understand ourselves and each other, and he challenges himself to do the same. This is so refreshing at times, and painful at other times. We have had 16 years of being lied to by our leaders, and we don't know exactly how to react to an honest leader who admits his mistakes. I have faith that the American people will sift through the media circus and opponents' spin and rejoice in Barack Obama's candor.

  • I'm bitter too, the gas cost almost 4 dollars a gallon and after I paid my tuition, I don't even have money for a decent meal. Damn right I'm bitter, Hillary isn't bitter, she has 109 millions dollars to spend~~she is doing just fine...

  • Sometimes the truth is a bit uglier than we want it to be. It doesn't give any excuse to be dishonest. Dishonesty is just uglier.

You've got my vote in '08, Mr. Obama. Best of luck to you (not that you'll need it)!

  • Another great Obama video. He calls it as it is. Why is this a problem? It's what we, as a nation, need and want: honesty.

Why is the media making this such a big deal? Obama is on the same side as middle America. Heck, he's much closer to it than McCain or Clinton.

  • He speaks the truth. Why is this an issue? It's what we as a nation need -- and want -- in a leader after 8 years of *&%!#$.

    I don't get the uproar. He's on middle-America's side.

  • Am I proud of America, no I'm not.

Am I proud of Obama, yes I am.

  • i love you more,OBAMA~~

    from korea

  • clinton is so desperate. trying to use this

to help her. He's telling the truth. damn im pissed

  • Obama is RIGHT.

    People ARE angry and frustrated.

Hillary is sooo wealthy, she doesn't understand this!!!!!

  • Very honest! This gentleman will be a wonderful president.

  • What's wrong with saying "people are bitter". We are all bitter, frustrated and really sick of the Bush Administration!

  • What a great event! I asked Senator Obama the second question and was very pleased with his response. Get people involved in the process, show them that they can be active and make a difference. Be the difference you want to see in the world.

  • Obama is the only one who has the guts to say it like it is. My only problem is that he said he miss-spoke, and try to explain what he said. I agreed with he first statement 110% and he should stick to his guns and let the dust of sping clear and move on.

  • brilliant!!!!!

  • Barack tells it like it is. Very refreshing

    Obama 08!

  • One major thing I like about Obama is that he is NOT afraid to be "Politically Incorrect", not afraid to say things that the so-called "Mainstream Media" would not understand. The "mainstream media" has no clue what it means to live a basic life. Of the three candidates, Obama is by far the most IN TOUCH with the issues of ordinary people.

  • I went to your Rally in NYC today Barack! I couldn't believe the turn out!! Won't be long before we have the nomination. :D

    Obama 08 For the win!!!

  • barack the boat baby!

  • This man will be the president of the united states

  • Hillary is blowing this out of porportion just to get it off fridays news about Bill recounting the bosnia sniper fire story. That she flat out lied about. Also Mark Penn Her and her Republican buddy John Mccain how messed up.If you are playing football you don't attack your own team. She has done this too many times when will all Democrats see this? Stop Hating! Hillary and all her supporters they don't act like Democrats. Note to Hillary,John McCain is on the other team,Not Barack Obama!!!!!!!!!!

  • When Senator Clinton said the following statements.....

"Senator Obama's comments are elitist and they are out of touch"

"They are not reflective of the values and beliefs of Americans"

    It seems to me that she is trying to insinuate that;

Obama is 'other', un-American and therefore out of touch with what American's really think believe and feel etc.

This ties into other arguements made - both by her and republicans - that he is unpatriotic, different. They're more 'American' than he is.

  • The more honest and sincere Obama is, the more critical of him people become. This man is going to have to walk on water to get elected.

I'm bitter. Keep our damn jobs in OUR country!

  • Your opponents may twist it, mainstream media may refer to it as "huge blunder"... keep telling the truth, Barack. Don't distort it to please anyone. I'm frustrated too, I'm bitter, I hate the bush and Clinton hypocrisy.

  • Obama is right! Americans are mad as hell at government and we aren't going to take it anymore. We are Bitter!!! We want a better government!!!!

He's so presidential! He's not afraid of hard issues.

    Obama 08'

  • Obama ftw.

  • The media horribly misunderstood why he said what he said.

  • Obama really gets what's going on. He speaks to us as adults. He takes issues on head on.

He's so presidental!!! I really get's that we are mad as hell at government and we aren't going to take it anymore.

Thanks for talking to us as Adults Obama!!

  • I live in Indiana, so welcome to Indiana. :)

  • Obama is an honest statesman!

"A politician looks forward only to the next election. A statesman looks forward to the next generation." THOMAS JEFFERSON

  • Go Barack!

  • Right wingers take notice. You have had your day. President Obama is going to level the playing field between rich and poor. Rush, Sean & Fox News is going out of business. President Obama will cut you off. Only the truth will be heard on RADIO & TV after he is elected. We love you Barack.

  • Once again Barack takes flack from those who are playing the lowest common denominator game, McCain and HRC.

  • OBAMA '08 !!!!!

  • i was THERE!!!!! :) yesssss... and that's my friend in the white backwards hat! What up Steve.

  • Hillary is so egocentric, greedy and desperate for power that she can say anything (even if it makes no sense all) to get elected. Well let me inform you; the American people are stupid. They have over and over again said who they would want to represent them in the global stage. And that leader Obama.

  • He doesn't say anything in this speech!

He doesn't give any answers, of solutions to any of these problems

I can't stand Hillary at all

    and Mccain makes me sick

but they both actually say things of substance

I don't even know what this guy would do as president other than "change"

sure, Washington is broken, and he need change

    but we need GOOD change

and Barack wont tell us what he plans to do!

you guys can't seriously believe Obama is going to make things better!

  • the problem with obama is he speaks to us Intellectually and tells it like its.

    i guess truth hurts.that said

    I AM BITTER.I VOTE OBAMA!!

  • You are RIGHT! People that do not experience these problems (Clintons) dont understand. They prefer to treat as normal. Job loss, home foreclosures and no jobs will automatically trigger those feelings. I am a witness because I am one.

  • You are right Senator Obama. I am bitter, angry and depressed and sometimes thoughts go through your head because you need to release your frustrations. Pay the Clintons no attention of course they cannot relate to this reality and that is why i'm one of your strongest supporters.

  • These elections have got nothing to do with me, im from Kuwait.. But man, this guy is awesome, if I could vote for those elections..

He would definitely get my vote

    Obama!

  • wow! what a condescending guy. Many people are PROUD to be from small towns because the federal government tends to be less intrested in their affairs. Some of us would rather have nothing to do with ANY of these politicians and live our life in peace and freedom from their discretionary oppression.

  • What has he done to justify in him getting my vote come election day? He has no history and no background, but he wants to be President on a bunch of promises. What has he done?

  • Go Barack Go!

  • Thank you for telling the truth He will make a GREAT President

    OBAMA 08!!!!!!!!!!

  • A politician who speaks to Americans as if they were adults.

    Obama 2008

    Obama 2012

  • I do not understand the controversial statement everyone is talking about. It is true that people are bitter that they are left behind and yes we do try to hold on to what are comfort zone. Why is Hillary and Mccain attacking him when they both have incomes in excessof 100 mil.???

  • wow. i was at ball state today for something else, but i didnt get to see barack =(

  • Whats nice is to see the messages everyone posts , they say supportive things about Obama. You cant really say the same thing for the video posted about Hillary.

    GO OBAMA!!!

  • Obama, you are an inspiration. Truth has always been bitter, especially for americans. They would rather vote for "syncophant" politicians who care less about people's feelings. Another thing, they are "gullible" since all they do is watch TV 24/7. They may not vote for you because you tell the truth as it is but the inspiration you have brought to the world will make people respect you greatly. But it's OK, truth tellers have always been hated. Thank God I am a Canadian. Whohoooooo!!!

  • America can count on Senator Obama to be the President who speaks the truth as it is, without lying or exaggerating!

  • With 109 million you don`t know what the word BITTER means, I think.

I`m from Holland and I think some people in the US are easy to fool.

I think sen. Barack is realistic to people, and even he was`nt ritch and famous,so I think he knows what bitter means, couse he lived it trough his life and lurningprocess in publicserf. I think he`s a selfmade president from a grassroutes level and he knows how people feel when they get okidoked over and over again.

  • wow way to try to make jab at conservative ideology and turn it in your favor. This makes me sad I am going to go shoot my gun and pray a little

  • Finally the truth has been told ..but as Jack Nicholas said some people can't handle the truth...look whats happening to our economy of course we are bitter.... this proves who are the real people out of touch....HRC and McShame

  • you go boy!

  • John Anzalone DP: "I grew up in a blue collar environment. 'Bitter' was a more-than-appropriate description of blue collar families, especially middle-aged men who were living the American dream and content on their union wages in manufacturing who then faced a hopeless future. ... I think this whole line of attack by Clinton and McCain is [BS] and contrived. What do they know about economic anxiety. You think families in the Rustbelt care about the nuance of an adjective when they are hurting?"

  • You are exactly right Mr. Obama....we have to be able to do better that Bush-Clinton-Bush-Clinton. Obama 08!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hello Americans, Im from holland, and I think he doesn`t beat around the BUSH HAHAHA, I think he`s fair and balanced....and I Think that hillary = playing a victim all the time.

even we from Holland can see that.

    question!!

why is it that the media in the US play more bad stuff about Obama over and over again than Hillary????

I find it a question that must be taken seriously.

anyways, HOLLAND/EUROPE FOR OBAMA, ALL THE WAY.

  • Thanks for being honest. Finally.

  • OBAMA IS ALWAYS THERE WITH THE TRUTH!

The Republicans and Hillary can't do that!

    Change!! Obama 08

  • At least he admitted he could have used more flowerly language, but I am glad he didn't. We need to swallow this information raw. We are all thinking it and we all feel it. But, like it or not the media isn't use to the TRUTH and REAL STRAIGHT TALK. So if it isn't packaged nicely w/ a bow they will distort it to no end. Thanks for talking to us like ADULTS Obama. Hold to God's unchanging hand. Pray and we will be praying for you.

  • Fantastic rebuke. Clinton and McCain are being ridiculous, it is obvious that people who are in economic hardship are going to be angry about it!

  • He was right when he said the first time and only someone intentionally trying to distort his remarks could think otherwise..

  • Divide and Conquer, Barack, Divide and Conquer! Why would we want to be united anyway with a bunch of gun toting, intolerant xtian fundies? Screw middle amerikkka! Progressives know better and Obama is the most progressive of them all!

  • The news cycle for the past couple days have been biased against obama. Maybe cuz its a slow news week they're trying to make this nonissue more confrontational than it is.

  • We the people finace Senator Obama's campaign unlike the lobbyists and special Interest that finance Hillary and Mc Same's campaign.Yes we are angry and bitter about the corruption in Washington,What's wrong with that?Senator Obama tell's the truth and that's what we need in the next president.Barack Obama will be a great president.

  • Obama '08

  • barack obamanos amigos!!!!!! lol :)!

  • Keep speaking the truth Barack! Don't let them twist your words in their attempts to slander you or pander to the misinformed. The truth will set you free!

Can we run a strong campaign? YES WE CAN!

    Obama 2008!

  • The truth hurts.

    Obama 2008

  • Nothing can change if we don't see the truth.

  • HE GOT MY VOTE!

  • Obama is trying to bring people who differs on various grounds, togather even at the risk of getting hit by rivals. On the other hand Mrs. Clinton technically telling the world that a persons grandparents faith (religion) needs to be considered for his/her credibility. Its a shame that even the poorest part of the worlds had moved from those narrowness, not Clintons.

  • I guess Obama does not realize how much unemployment went DOWN under the first Clinton Administration.

The idea that my faith rises from bitterness is an insult. If Obama was concerned about speaking the truth, he would have had the balls to say this in front of the people toward whom the statement was directed. What a snob.

  • Ben Smith @ politico needs to be fired, when journalist spin the truth thats just to much. I call for as many people as possible to ask for ben smiths resignation. Ben Smith, Howard Wolfson, and Hillary Clinton are the people that are tearing the democratic party apart!! We need to stand up and get rid of this trash from the party!

  • I WAS THERE!

  • how true it is... Obama 08!

  • I wonder if they'll show any of this on TV

  • The democratic party has been losing elections for the past 40 years because people stopped voting for their economic interest because it stopped making a difference. Barack speaks the truth here. If he can convince people to vote along their economic interest so that they can have jobs, health insurance and lower taxes for the middle and lower classes Barack can build a winning winnng coalition for a long time to come. Barack is brave and he speaks the truth to us. Bravo for honesty.

  • Regarding the recent flap over Obama's "small town" comments, I wish that more people would concentrate on the intent behind someone's words, as opposed to merely focusing the words alone. Barack's original choice of words might not have been the best, but his intended message was right on the money!

  • Barack!!

    w.k

  • Barack the vote !

    Obama 08 !

  • I used to like him but now I'm get tired of his empty rhetoric. He comes off as Holier Than Thou. When he became Senator his wife got a 200% raise to $316,000/year from her hospital. They bought their house with a guy who is involved in political kickbacks. And him and his wife listened to Reverend Wright's racist rants for 20 years and now say "it's all out of context." I hear exactly what he said about working class folks in Pennsylvania and I think it's very condescending.

  • yay Barack!! the Caribbean loves you. Do the right thing America.

  • Why does Fox News always try to smear Barack? I only got in to politics last year because of Barack. This is my first time voting. But seriously, why do Fox News ALWAYS unfairly dissmiss him as unpatriotic? Hannity in particular.

  • what a great guy.

  • Yeah...we're all praying that the government will solve all our problems. rriigghhtt. The government is not there to realize the "american dream" for people.

  • OBAMA 08!!!! He is going to bring NEEDED change to this country.

  • Yes we can!!! Keep Going!!!

    Obama 08!!

  • You are bitter when the factory you worked in moves operations to Canada, Mexico and even to the Phillipines!...Unemployment in maufacturing secter and out-sourcing wages(usually below 80% of previous wages) is what we're left with....yes, USA needs a CHANGE!

  • I am a 63-year-old Caucasian male. We must "denounce and reject" every form or racism and sexism. I am "for" Barack Obama because I believe that he alone has the unique ability to bring Democrats, Republicans and Independents together to make positive changes and get things done in congress. Not only is Barack Obama's candidacy about making positive change in lifting all people to better achieve the American dream, but it is also about a new paradigm about how that change will be accomplished.
