This speech lends more credence to the birther's case than any previous. What AMERICAN doesn't know that the Statue of Liberty wasn't donated by France and not built as part of a fund raiser from an alleged early progressive.
That was the base of the statue NOT the Statue.
The poem on the base is an excerpt of a poem called "The New Colossus", by Lazarus, which has NOTHING to do with socialism.

I see he is not only "transforming" the country, but rewriting history as well. People need to investigate EVERYTHING he says, and not take it at face value...

I believe the Statue of Liberty was constructed by the French and given to the U.S. We only constructed the base on which the statue now stands.
