Theres nothing really different about an interceptor car and a loaded sports car. Its the same engine as its limited release Super bee model but comes with 2 front seats, dashboard with standard gages and any safety gear mandatory by the Government for that make. It has better drive train and heavy duty parts that others wont have stock. Everything else are done by a 3rd party company special ordered for each town, county, state, and prison custom made because Chrysler doesn't distribute Python.

okay these people that get on here and try to do descent donuts with autos kill me, shift it into 1ST!!! or LOW, THEN do the burnout/donuts. You hear the engine constantly revving up and then down up and then down, thats the trans up shifting, then downshifting etc. this is a very good way to kill ANY automatic. however some more modern transmissions will shift even if the selector is in 1 or low

Cars with electronic transmissions have solenoid actuated valves and electronic circuits which are controlled by the cars PCM or TCM. Just because the gear shifter is placed in 1st gear does not mean the transmission will not shift. The 4L60e transmission will shift out of first once speed gets high enough unless it is is disabled (via a computer tune).
