One issue that always comes up when discussing the Quran is the definition of Prophet (Nabi) & messenger (Rasoul). NO ONE can define these better than the One who sent them both. The definitions are very clear in the Quran. Many, however, do not accept the definition given by God & instead accept the definition they give, that is given by others or in the dictionary. The 1st example for messenger & prophet comes from 7:157, & 7:158 where God described the Prophet Muhammed as; See Panel #2

One issue that always comes up when discussing the Quran is the definition of Prophet (Nabi) & messenger (Rasoul). NO ONE can define these better than the One who sent them both. The definitions are very clear in the Quran. Many, however, do not accept the definition given by God & instead accept the definition they give, that is given by others or in the dictionary. The 1st example for messenger & prophet comes from 7:157, & 7:158 where God described the Prophet Muhammed as; See Panel #2

Verse 3:81, among many others, provides the definitions of Prophet & Messenger. According to the Quran, every Prophet is a Messenger but not every Messenger is a Prophet

@1982witchcraft These terms are not mutually exclusive; Hebrew Israelites is an ethnicity and Muslim is a term for one who submits to do the will of God (a descriptive term). It is not an ethnicity and therefor they can be the same people - similar to calling a Native American (ethnicity) a Holy Man (a title of description). The mistake most people make is to assume that Muslim is a ethnicity, race, religion, etc. It is like calling you a rebel, warrior or messiah - all titles.
