The "clunky menu system" was enough for not spending more than half an hour with it.

Everyone seems to like the DS version more then the Wii version. I haven't played either but decided, based off this review and others, that i'm going to buy the DS version and see how it is. It looks pretty good just from the gameplay footage used in the reviews.

you gain abilities as you level up. Its just that the only way to max your Hp and Mp is to get the strongest armor for your character

yough question, i think if the only copy of the game between u and ur friends is a wii disc than you cant play locally,

however if u have a wii disc and a ds cartridge than you can play local wireles together

I soo agree!!! the game is fun only if you have the DS. me I have the DS and so sadly I hav no internet connection to the DS and none of my friends has a DS or this game soo yeah. there IS one thing I hate about this game though and that is I finished this game in one day... I wish it was longer like FF:crystal chronicles (for gamecube) but this game is very good!! oh... and you might need an Action replay to help you out in some sticky situations... heh

It owns,I have it and once you get used to the controls,you can play 8 hours a day :P.The story change with your characters/actions.You choose for 4 races Selkie Clavat lilty and Yuke.The attack change,you have elemental spell and spell fusions to build better spells(blizzard+blizzard=blizz­araga).

I love it,long,not boring,lots of variety and secret,worth buying but it's underrated.

The guy in the video isn't very high level. And I haven't bothered to use jewels in my armor because I simply don't need them at this point and want to save what I have for when I get better armor. Generally for a hacker to get in, they're going to need to put a worm virus on the computer if you don't have a static IP address, and THAT is prevented by antivirus programs and a good helping of common sense.

Yeah, I've been debating whether or not to get this game. I have a DS, I got Ring of Fates, love the game play and graphics (graphics are good for a DS, though poor for the Wii) but I found the story disappointing.
