@pencilkillerouch When using the lasso tool can you lasso in several quick strokes or do you have to lasson the object all in one stroke?

computones like to tile themselves, not matter what I do. I keep trying to add a computone effect to something, then I erase all but the tone I need but then when I try to resize the tone it tiles on me again. I have no idea what to do and there is no guides online for this.

@Son23 double click on the tone tile on the layer list to bring up the settings for the tone. then change tone mode (default gradation) to normal. hope that's what you were asking for @_@

I have a request... If possible, coulf you do a tutorial video on how to create a manga page? The panels and gutters, roughing, inking, and screen toning? Please? I only just got EX4, but I can't use it very well...

@Levion its not hard i had the same problem i fixed it by:

press f6 to go to materials. go undder tones/computones/ shoose a type, and apply ur tones. in my opinion the easiest way to apply tones is to give them their own layer, paste them onto the page. press ctrl+a then delete. using a pen fill in the area u want that tone. Hope i helped!

Is there a possible way that I can paint or give color to the tone I selected??? I can't seem to find the correct method to do this (give some color to the tone)

@elyonum Yeah I did! Go to the tone section, then pick that one that you like (Example: Circles). Once you pick it you will see a layer of the tone already visible in the 'Edit Layer". Click 2 times in the icon of the layer (the icon has an image of many circles) not the eye layer...When you click the icon a folder of setting called "Properties". Then you'll see other little folders called "tone', Ruler", "Layer" etc. On the "LAYER" you will look down and click COLOR on "Display Color"!

yea i know, just painting tone would be so much eaiser than practically redrawing your drawing, its so hard to make it precise

You open up the Tools window (F2). Below the colors, it should show the tone you're using. Click on it, select your drawing tool, click on your pic to add the tone layer, then draw away!

I really hate using lasso tools. So I just fill the whole area with tone and import to photoshop and use the Layer Mask option on the tone layer and then use that as my finished page. I like that a lot better. Besides this can't type Japanese. =P

Um, this is gunna sound stupid but how do you get it back to black?

You go to "Basic Tones," grab a black tone, and just drag it to the selected area

Okay how do you erase tones because I've tried the eraser tool... Needlesss to say, it doesn't work...

Just try ctrl + z or edit undo, that works for me anyway

Well I discovered that you can selected the area with the arrow tool, then get the eraser tool, and erase tones that way... I may have to get back to you that though.

Manga Studio. They are similar to use, but have important differences. Mainly, Photoshop is best for color pictures and Manga Studio is best for black and white.

When you add the pre-made, double click the balloon layer on the layer properties. That should pop up the menu. You can drag to resize the balloon there. Hope it's help.
