boss, digitech, and mxr are all great pedals to buy at a more high end price. I you're looking for beginning pedals it is better to go with such items from behringer, line 6, and danelectro. I you have the money though and you know what you're looking for, go for boss digitech or mxr. There's a high chance you'll still have the pedals as you age.

Yeah Boss Metal Zone. DS-1 is more geared toward classic rock. Besides you can search up dial positions for the MZ to get different band sounds if you're into that.

well it runs 2 8-inch speakers....so while its a 15 watt amp, it plays louder than that. I've done the same thing with a Vox 15 and a Marshall 15, it gets fairly loud. No half stack but still its a decent amount of volume

i don't know anything about this amp but what i do know is that you should go to the store where you want to buy it and play on it for an hour or 2 (best on you're own guitar) and compare it to other amps in your budget.

The marshall mg is a horrible, horrible, fizzy solid state amp. You obviously don't know shit about amps if you see the marshall mg as the epitome of tone.
